As with a lot of Valletta the property is on a steep hill. It is beautifully restored and the attention to detail in the room and common areas was amazing. The photos of the view from a roof terrace are only from the penthouse room. But there are many roof venues in the city and other venues with fabulous views.

We had a great stay at Battery House, the location is perfect. We were in the penthouse room, the view was even better then in the pictures, but there is no shade do we could only enjoy it in the late afternoon. The location is quiet and well maintained. They offer a complimentary bar which amused me, they had gin and whisky, but minimal mixers. However it was a nice touch and included an ice machine which was a God send in Valetta in August! Book Battery House you will have s great time!

Our second stay at Battery House (this time in the penthouse) absolutely fabulous, very clean room, good amenities in room, very comfortable bed, balcony & hot tub. This place is a gem & so close to everything. Highly recommend.

Loved the place! Such a unique view over the harbour and with the hot tub, we really didn’t want to leave. Would happily stay here again. Only negative, hence 4 stars and not 5, is that the hot tub took all the colour out of our expensive swim wear (no hot tub has ever done that in all the years we’ve used them). Staff dealt with it promptly by replacing the water, which was great, but sadly the swimwear is ruined.

Beautiful Place

Battery House was amazing, location was perfect, the hotel & room was stunning, very comfy bed, housekeeping every day, the lift was a godsend. Check in/out was very straight forward and communication with the host was excellent. Highly recommend.

Great location. Close enough to the cafe/shops of Valletta but on a quiet street. Cute boutique hotel with everything you need. Loved the welcome drink upon arrival. It’s self service. Uber/Bolt/Taxi hard to get to for drop off/pick up. You need to go down steps to main road to get better car hire pick up service. Wish we had stayed here more nights instead of moving to another place in Valletta. Highly recommend!

Taxi's couldn't drive down the street, so you had alot of stairs to climb. Poor lighting when checking in at night, and key pad has the bell sign over the # key so was confusing. Also got wrong details when checking in.
