"Nice staff, clean room, good breakfast. The breakfast attendant was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, they don't provide an in-room coffee maker. That's an important amenity because people like to have their first coffee in their room. No one likes to stumble down to the lobby in pajamas for their first coffee of the morning. If the hotel provides that one missing amenity, I'll give them a 10 out of 10."

"I would NOT recommend this hotel even for a homeless person. The room was nasty and we left and found elsewhere to stay. Will never return. "

"I was shocked when I saw the condition of the building. So much work needed to be done in our bathroom. In the hallways. My boyfriend even noticed that there was no emergency certificate in the elevator. Makes you wonder if they're up to date or up to code. In addition to the poor condition to the building it must not be insulated too well because we could literally hear every step they were taking above us. Even in the middle of the night it was just noisy. I do not recommend this location."

"After reading some of the other reviews, we weren’t exactly sure what to expect. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was an offering for breakfast, but it was just pastries, fresh fruit, and juice. I’m returning to Valpo would definitely stay in this hotel again."
