“Our stay at Hotel Gran Ciasa was one of the highlights of our Italy vacation. The surroundings are beautiful and you can enjoy them from anywhere within the hotel. You really feel like you are in the mountains, especially in the hot tub and relax rooms. “The Parkhotel Matrei has some of the most attentive and friendly staff I’ve met. The hotel gave off “home” feelings and not commercial hotel. The convenience of a front parking lot, gas station & grocery nearby was great and the rooms were perfect size for me and my many bags, as well as a space for me to get my work done. I was also given a holiday gift bag because they knew I’d be alone for the holiday. Just a great place, words don’t do them justice. Definitely will be returning some day!”

The ski room made storing your equipment very easy and was well organized. The wellness center had lovely saunas and a nice pool/jacuzzi - just what you need after a day of skiing. “I highly recommend this hotel! It was by far the best hotel I stayed at during my trip to Italy. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful; they even helped me find my lost wallet. The property is perfectly located right at the starting point of the Gardena Pass. The mountain view from the jacuzzi was breathtaking. “Fantastic hotel with a great location! Will for sure come back next time we are in Dolomites. The rooms have great view over the valley and the mountains. Breakfast was great with everything you might want. And their pool/sauna area is perfect for late afternoon relaxing after spending the day hiking. I also had to take some work calls while there and their WiFi is outstanding. There is also strong 4G signal in the area. ”
