The whole place had a charm about it. It was lovely and relaxing. Breakfast was good. A lot of variety. Most staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. We made good use of the map we were given. The bar was not good but that could be because the season was just finishing. We had one cocktail out in the gardens and that was it. Only one person knew how to make them and she was only there for one night out of our five. We had to settle for hot chocolate the rest of the time but that was lovely. My only real criticism is the mattress and the pillow’s especially need changing. Pillows are flat, lumpy and hard as rocks. Please spend a little bit on that area and would be a five star review. Thank you for your hospitality.
Beautiful space. Great people. And location is close to everything. They also have their own pier to assist you with getting around. 100% love this place!
The staff was amazing and treated us like family. We were traveling and it was our first time on Lido island. For two older woman who really needed help negotiating Venice and the surrounding area we were well taken care of. I highly recommend this hotel.
If I came back to Venice I would stay again. In a quiet residential area great for someone looking for a relaxing stay away from the crowds. Less than a mile walk to public transportation (water bus) with easy access to all the places you’d want to visit. You have to walk a bit to get to the free public beach- you can’t access it from the end of the road. Friendly staff, cozy room, good atmosphere.
Wonderful place to stay. We were greeted by very friendly staff, comfortable and pristine rooms, and nice breakfast. This hotel provides a very home-like experience.
The service is excellent, staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a lovely quiet location but conveniently located for shops, restaurants and the ferry point. The hotel is very tradition and quirky. The restaurant is exceptional.
This property is in a very quiet location on Lido Beach, far away from the craziness of Venice and its tourists. The property location is very convenient, close to the beach, bus stop and restaurants. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good, however, they should keep all food items stocked until the closing time of 10 AM and not have them run empty before that. The room was nice, cute and clean, and it was a very comfortable stay for us. Will definitely recommend this!
This should be your choice when going to Venice. Yes, it’s on the Lido, but this is what makes it the perfect choice. Easy water bus back and forth and this property is a gem.
If you value beauty,( the gardens are spectacular), hospitality, the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Special thanks to Lorenza for her recommendations on dinners. Bountiful breakfast buffet, and outdoor spaces for a relaxing glass of wine or cocktail. If we are fortunate enough to visit Venice again we will surely stay here. The woman who owns the property is also the mentor of the beautiful surroundings and decor.
The hotel is very old and the entire hotel smells very badly. There are no elevators so you have to climb multiple stairs to get to your room. The restaurant tables are very old and dirty. The breakfast was not very good, the scrambled eggs and fruits were obviously leftovers from the day before. You have to order coffee or tea every time and the servers will say things in Italian which didn't seem very nice.
Some might like the atmosphere, but I wouldn't recommend it.
