Great location, large and clean rooms that are sound proofed so our toddler (2yo) could easily nap and sleep at night. Nearby Rialto making it easy for public transport.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The room was clean and quaint. The staff was very accommodating. The only problem was finding the hotel initially. Directions need to be improved.
Very spacious and clean room. Allowed us to check in early. However the AC couldn't handle the heat wave, we had miserable sweaty nights during our stay. We were dreading going back to our room at the end of the day.
There was language barrier as staff did not speak good English.
The property was clean , modern amenities but internet did not work in our room. That is the only reason for 3 star otherwise it was good place to stay
Totally enjoyed breakfast with the other guests! Host was great! Absolutely loved time we was there! Elevator was a adventure everytime! Just a really great stay!
On our recent stay, our family had three rooms. Very roomy, well appointed rooms. One of our rooms even had a patio attached. Perfect for us to gather at the end of the evening with a glass of wine. Staff was very friendly and extremely helpful.
Room was clean and central location. Terrible staff however. They were quite rude and overcharged us our property taxes. More than 4x what was listed on the booking confirmation and just started yelling and screaming loudly in Italian. Suggest to avoid or be prepared to pay whatever tax they make up on the spot.
Great location, walking distance to St Marks square and rialto bridge and other main sights.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
Only complaint was that our room was next to reception desk and faced the piazza so was noisy in the morning and woke us up early.
The room was clean and had a large size bathroom, there was a strong smell of spices or perfume, but not bad, just different. The walk from the station was 25 minutes. Lots of bridges to get there too.
Loved the location! Very close to main attractions, walking distance to most in 10 min. The view from room was very nice.
The downside was that there was no elevator to the 3rd floor, carrying heavy bags up 3 flights of stairs was not easy. The other downside was the noise at night, people out and about drinking to 2am are not very quiet and we could hear everything even with the windows closed. Not the hotels fault but it does impact stay. Patrizia was the nicest host we have had in a long while too, many thanks to her.
We had a wonderful stay with our two young children. This location was convenient to all the things we wanted to do in Venice. It’s a historic property and the rooms are equipped with everything you need (mini bar, comfortable beds and pillows, hairdryer, coffee, tea) our family room had a big window facing the courtyard so it got a little noisy Saturday night but nothing too bad. Our kids were able to sleep through it. I would definitely come back! The best part about this stay was the service. Everyone from the front desk ladies to the housekeeper were friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and exceptional.

Liked: Cleanliness, room comfort
Disliked: Staff & service
The lady at the desk doesn’t speak English and was rather rude and loud with a in your face type of demeanor that was dismissive, not patient nor professional, which made the place feel not welcoming. The room itself is old but spacious, a bit of weird moldy looking patch up on the ceiling, the location itself is very convenient and central but because of that you should be prepared to carry your luggage through thick crowds to get to the hotel given it’s near the hotspot of Rialto bridge.
The staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was clean and relatively quiet, there was occasional noise in the walkway below but did not bother us. The only problem for me was that the bed was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. I moved to the middle of the bed in order to get any sleep at all. It did not bother my husband though.
