Excellent hotel with great service and breakfast
This hotel is an excellent hotel which provides great service, delicious breakfast, and convenient transportation(water bus). The only thing that is inconvenient is a trasportation from the airport. I arrived the airport late in the evening, so I took a private water taxi which costs 120 euro. The location is very close to Rialto bridge and waterbus station Ca Doro. We bought 3-day waterbus ticket, which has been very conveneint and efficient to travel around Venice. Nearby the hotel we enjoyed shopping and dining, which was a very good and pleasant experience. The staffs were very kind and considarate, expecially the manager. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and definitely want to stay this hotel again, next time I visit Venice. We had an INCREDIBLE stay! If I could give more than 5 stars for the service, I would! When we first arrived, the decor was striking—real antique charm with some modern luxuries. Breakfast and tea in the courtyard was magical. And again, unbelievable service. I hope someday I get to return to Palazzo Abadessa!

Staff were a big plus. It was also very conveniently placed with good restaurants, access back to the airport (from the port dock F.Te Nove A). This is a gorgeous former palace, beautifully and authentically decorated; with free afternoon tea/coffee time, every day plus a free happy hour on Saturday. The relaxing gardens sealed this as our first choice. A great choice!

Hotel was one of the better ones in venice, with regard to decor, they all seem very outdated but maybe the are trying to keep the venitian charm, which is fine but please add some mordern touches. Our room was very unpleasently warm the whole of our visit. Expedia stated there was aircon but there isnt, we tried to call down to reception with no avail, so hubby ended up going down and asking about the aircon, to which we were told there is none. We was offered a fan, which wasnt great but better than nothing, we had to have it on full the whole time we was there, even during the night, which made my eyes sore, we even had to have the windows open which wasnt great as we got bit quite a lot during the night. Husband also tried to call down for an iron and ironing board, as none in room but again no answer, so had to go down to reception, to which my husband was greated with a roll of the eyes, disgusting customer serivce, yet the man who was on the desk when we arrived in the morning, couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast isnt great either, unless your happy with a continental one, scrambled and boiled eggs available every morn but bacon was only availabe 2 out of the 4 of our nights stay, no toast and no sauages. Breakfast room where you eat was in loby area too, which i didnt like, with 2 bedrooms off that too, very strange. Location was good tho, but i wouldn't stay there again due to there been no aircon.

Room was amazing no sound issues for us. Bathroom needs some attention, removal of old fittings, fan constantly on etc. Breakfast was weak poor selection of food, however good enough to see you through to lunch. No in room tea/coffee.

Very nice Palazzo in original style. Great big room with view to the garden. Very friendly staff. Not in perfect new stage but authentic.

Outstanding Staff. Friendly and accommodating. Offered a room upgrade for day two when a superior room but we were happy with our original room. You can walk anywhere easily. The water bus is less than a five minute walk. Lovely atmosphere and a nice breakfast. It is quiet and the bed was very comfortable. I strongly recommend the Hotel Abadessa

O hotel eh bem localizado, bonito, o atendimento eh mto bom, porém como eh um hotel bem antigo, possui aquele aspecto de quarto da época imperial. Eu acho lindo, mas tem que ver se a pessoa gosta. Divide opiniões. Mas no geral gostei bastante! Ganhamos até um espumante!

Wonderful time
Wonderful stay at Hotel Palazzo. Hotel is in a good quiet location, away from the hustle and bustle of St Marks Square but within easy walking distance. Staff are all very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The only downside for us was that we stayed in a classic room on the ground floor and you can hear the room above occupants moving around and having a shower. Wasn’t a big problem as we are early risers anyway. The breakfast is good and plentiful to start the day and lovely being able to have breakfast in the courtyard and garden.

おすすめできる素敵なホテル
ベネチアらしい雰囲気に溢れたホテルです。歴史ある建物ですか水回りなどは新しく綺麗です。 駅や、中心部、島へのアクセスがとても良い場所でありながら、素晴らしい庭がありそこでの朝食は快適です。 朝食は、美味しいパン、多彩なチーズやハム、フルーツ、スイーツまで揃っていてどれも美味しく、飲み物はスタッフの方が注文を聞いてサーブしてくださいます。 スタッフの皆さんも大変感じが良く、温かい対応をしていただきました。 ゲストも落ち着いた方々おおく、自然とうまれる交流も楽しかったです。 おかげで素晴らしい滞在の思い出ができました。 感謝します。

It has been a marvellous stay for us. It was our honeymoon and we really didn't expect something like this. The rooms are historical and even the floor is full of history with frescos, pictures (probably from 18th century) and antique furniture. The breakfast was quite good and in the evening we loved to have a cocktail and sit in the garden to close a day. I really recommend this hotel and we will come back whenever we will stay in Venice. Thank you so much!

Fantastisk hus og beliggenhet. Dårlig drevet.
Flott beliggenhet, nær hovedgaten. Veldig rent og delikat gjesterom, men i fellesrommene er det et stort forbedringspotensiale med støvtørking på malerirammene bl.a. Utendørs i haven var det ustelte og delvis visne planter, mangelfull raking av planterester, falmede stolputer og mangelfull belysning på kveldstid. Delikat frokost, men i løpet av vårt tre døgns opphold var det alltid noe som manglet på frokostbordet: glass, brød/rundstykker, egg, pålegg etc. Unødvendig for et hotell med 15 rom og frokostbetjening. Da vi ba om det mangelfulle tok det opp til 15 min. før det var på plass. Frokost burde ha vart til kl. 10.30, ikke 10.00. Her er det feriegjester som bor, og de fleste kom til frokost etter kl. 09.15. Ingen salonger i fellesrommene, kun mulig å sitte i haven og spisesalen. Friske blomster i hallen, men stearinlys som står til alle retninger i lysestakene. Alle dører knirker. Hotellet bærer preg av det administreres av menn, og at det mangler en kvinnelig "hånd". Vi spurte også om det var kvinnelige ansatte der, og fikk bekreftet at det kun var til frokost og rengjøring av rom. Tvilsomt 4 stjerners hotell.
