Everything was excellent! All staff were friendly, attentive and accommodating. The safari on their private parkland was exceptional. Our lodging was comfortable and lovely. Food was delicious! I highly recommend!
Lovely group of four lodges, in immaculate private grounds, overlooking the Stanley and Livingstone game reserve. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. We loved the rural “get away from it all” feel, combined with the convenience of Victoria Falls being only a 15 minute taxi ride away.
Ursulas is a very nice, intimate experience, where only 4 cabins exist. The staff were very attentive and friendly, making the overall experience great. Dinner at the porch while wild animals pass by during the evening was a very special time.
A nice quiet location close to but at the same time removed from the township of Victoria Falls.
All of the staff were friendly and helpful. A home away from home. Would happily visit again
Very helpful and friendly staff. Out of town lodge so very quiet. Plenty of wildlife using the water-hole every day. Facilities good

The property is a real gem, remotely located but still a short taxi ride to the falls. staff and particularly Milly went above and beyond. would highly recommend this location if you’re visiting Victoria Falls
Entering the property at Ursula's Homestead you are immediately struck by the warm welcome from the staff and the amazing view of wildlife just feet from your room. The chalet style rooms are large and comfortable, with the feel of privacy that makes me feel at home. We sat for hours just watching the wildlife - giraffes, kudu, baboons, impala. No need for a bumpy ride in a safari truck needed. And the food is delicious, too. Would definitely stay again.
My husband and I stayed at Ursula's for 6 days and we absolutely loved it. We chose the property for the access to nature, privacy and quiet--we were not disappointed in anyway. The staff was incredible, the food was excellent (menu is small, but there is the easy option of eating dinner at the sister property if you desire!!!). I was deeply sad to leave, and am already planning our return. Housekeeping was outstanding, Lorraine was our main point of contact and we loved her so much, and our favorite server was Brutus xxx
Ursula’s Homestead is located 20minutes out of the Victoria Falls town on the edge of a private game reserve. The lodge itself has incredible views over a watering hole and provides a lovely spot to really have some downtime.
The pro’s:The staff were just absolutely amazing! Their attentiveness, and professionalism really enhanced the stay. From the super friendly landscaper, to the hospitality team (Prudence, Priscilla, Milly, Caleb, Duncan, Geoffrey), they really are superb.
There is an onsite restaurant with which we really enjoyed every meal. The Sadza, fillets, and every breakfast we had were delicious.
The room was large and comfortable - they also provided a proper wooden crib (not a pack and play) for our infant.
The cons: it’s expensive. To add onto every expense is the cost to take the shuttle into town as it’s $12 per person per direction - highly recommend you stop in town when you can to grab some snacks and drinks as you may be adding $50 to your bill just to get to town and back for 2 people.
The biggest let down for us was the room we stayed in. While large and comfortable in terms of the bed and quality bedding, the room is older and in desperate need of a bathroom update. The water was either scalding hot or freezing cold, and the shower had mold in it. As did the floor around the bathtub as the hose leaks if it’s not in the bathtub causing pools of water on the floor. Under the bed could also do with a good clean.
Overall we enjoyed the stay

Our jaws dropped as soon as we walked through the entry. The wildlife right out back is incredible and there’s a giraffe that visits every day. Sitting and watching the transition of animals coming to bed down by the water hole for the night was wonderful. This is my #1 recommendation for a reasonably priced stay in Vic Falls.
This property is a gem. It is quiet with its own private game reserve and a watering hole in front of you. Well visited by animals! The bird life is outstanding. We awoke at sunrise to the most lovely birdsong and the resident troop of baboons kept us entertained.
Milly and her staff were outstanding, attentive, kind and so helpful. The perfect host for a vacation of a life time. We will be back with the whole family! Thank you Milly 🤗🤗

Disliked: Room comfort
good
Service was good but no heaters or electric blankets so rooms were cold. Also no WiFi in rooms. Otherwise everything else was fine
We (my wife and I), had a great stay at Ursula’s (surrounded by bush some 15km from the town of Victoria Falls). The staff was super helpful, efficient and friendly. The setting is great, with a water hole in near but safe proximity to each two-bed unit (electric fenced for the safety of guests and staff alike). To top it all, Ursula’s is good value for money. Transport arrangements by the staff was spot-on for our day excursions and our back-and-forth trips to the airport. No car rental was necessary. The few kilometers travel from the main tar road into tne bush, was a nice reminder that we were away from the town centre yet close enough to the falls etc. Street vendors and high pressure for a sale was bothersome to us; we feel for vendors’ need to make a buck, but they tend to be to close for comfort.

Die Zimmer waren sauber aber einfach. Der Poll war einladend.
Der Gamedrive war teuer und enttäuschend, obwohl wir die "black rhinos" gesehen haben. Der Guide war gehetzt und unfreundlich.
The staff are exceptional people. Willing to assist and attentive. Special mention has to be made of Olivia whom I regarded as our Entertainment Manager and Michael who was our Game Drive Guide. After only 3 days we felt sad when leaving.
We hade a wonderful time, the staff was hospitable and welcoming and we enjoyed the accomodation as well as various activities. Room cleaning and service was exceptional. We will be sure to come back again.
