“Batonka Lodge was booked as part of a package trip that we did to Africa. However, we extended our trip so stayed two additional nights at the Lodge. The lodge is small compared to some other places that have recently been built or being built but it was just right. It had a really cozy colonial feel to it. “Small lodgings, but definitely worth the price. Not fancy, but does the job (you don't travel to Vic Falls to lounge in your room, right?) Really really great staff, good wifi, breakfast is homemade for each person, 24 hour security. It is not large so some taxi drivers need to use GPS. Walkable (a bit of a hike) to Victoria Falls itself as well as restaurants (20-ish minutes) or a quick ride (look up "In Drive" for best rates!) Shuttle from airport for small fee. Would definitely go back!”

“We stayed in a standard double. It was tight for room but bed very comfortable. Pool was nice just to cool off because we hit the hot period. The internet worked very well. Tent was way too hot even with a fan during the day but cooled off nicely around 8-9pm. Bathroom facilities were not so nice/ipdated. No hot water when we came but because of the heat, that was ok.
