โWe stayed two nights here and I wish we could have stayed a little longer. The signature rooms was very nice with a queen size bed, double rainfall showers/sinks and a outside porch where you can watch the wildlife walk by. One thing to consider is the showers/bath are open concept so its kinda like you are bathing in the open room with just a small partition separating from the bed (not an issue for me as I was staying alone). The shuttle was very convenient to get to the falls and other areas...

โBatonka Lodge was booked as part of a package trip that we did to Africa. However, we extended our trip so stayed two additional nights at the Lodge. The lodge is small compared to some other places that have recently been built or being built but it was just right. It had a really cozy colonial feel to it. โSmall lodgings, but definitely worth the price. Not fancy, but does the job (you don't travel to Vic Falls to lounge in your room, right?) Really really great staff, good wifi, breakfast is homemade for each person, 24 hour security. It is not large so some taxi drivers need to use GPS. Walkable (a bit of a hike) to Victoria Falls itself as well as restaurants (20-ish minutes) or a quick ride (look up "In Drive" for best rates!) Shuttle from airport for small fee. Would definitely go back!โ
โBasic accommodation that has all you need for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was hot and on time. Place is easy to find. Pool isnโt heated in winter. We didnโt use it. We were in a cottage with two bed/two baths and a large living dining area. Nice for a family. โ
