Great location, friendly long term staff, nice charm and well maintained for an older house. Two things worth noting is the bed was sunk in the middle and could use an update, and the wifi had very slow speeds. However we would stay here again.

The bath area was very large with a big tub. The toilet was too low to the floor The key code system made it very easy to come and go. The stop for the bus into town was a very short walk from the lodging, and the ride took about 5 minutes. The associated restaurant and pub was fine, with a lovely location by the water.

Was a bit of an odd check in (no reception) but it worked well.. room was lovely, clean nicely done.. Location was awesome. Was very confusing finding as it has the pub as the address (booked on Expedia) which gave us the wrong address as its no longer attached to the pub.

Beautiful heritage property, nice sized room within walking distance to downtown. Soaps were local to the island, which was a nice touch. Would definitely stay here again. Parking was a bit tight but manageable in a Toyota Tacoma as were were the first vehicle to park. There is additional parking crossed the street.

The location and room itself was very nice - little balcony. Great shower. Comfortable bed. Quiet too. The place is no longer owned by Spinakers Restaurant so it is more of a VRBO situation - no one there to check you in - just use the code they send. I was not expecting that but I liked the set up in the end. Wonderful to be so close to the water. And delighted that Spinakers does open at 9 am so I could get coffee and do try their homemade scones - different recipe every day!

Quiet Location, short walk to town and on the bike routes. Room was very comfortable. Only complaint was that the fire alarm went off as someone did not follow the advertised instructions for turning on the fan and opening the window when having a shower. Maybe the property could have those instructions communicated even more clearly.

We loved this guesthouse. Check-in was easy - they sent us a door code and we let ourselves in. The room and bathroom were large, the jetted tub was awesome, the bed was comfortable. It was very clean and a wonderful location. There is no bar fridge in the room, but we didn't need one. Highly recommend.

The Guesthouse is advertised as part of the Spinnaker Brew Pub, however, staff in the pub advised that the guesthouse had been sold on some time before and was now a separate entity. The guesthouse failed to email me entry codes so when I arrived I had to rely on pub staff for assistance which they were unable to give other than a phone number for guesthouse staff. I then received codes by text. Notwithstanding this the accommodation itself was very good

Lovely heritage suite with lovely period features. The bed was comfortable and we were provided with high quality, locally sourced soap, shampoo, lotion, coffee, and tea. We felt safe and at home here. It was clean and cozy. Parking was very convenient, right out the back door of our suite. The staff was very responsive and helpful too. We are definitely returning here in future!

There was a strong odor similar to camphor in the room. The surroundings were not clean and there was a dead decayed rat in the compound. Bathroom is very large and has a good bath tub. There is no AC, so sleeping in the summer might be hard. Parking area is not covered and has trees over it. Car was covered with leaves and ripe apple in the morning

Staff were so helpful and accommodating. The property had so much charm and very inviting. The bed was comfortable. Had everything I needed. The soaps and coffees were local and added a nice touch.
