We stayed 8 days. We got a suite. Everything was pretty good except for the front desk girls, not nice at all! The phone in our room didn’t work so no room service, the breakfast buffet goof flavor (congrats to the cooks) but every day the same menu no variety. I had to go to the front desk to ask for towels a few times since for some reason they didn’t let us any after they cleaned the room.

I loved the indoor pool. The room was nice and comfortable. Staff was friendly, property was well maintained. The breakfast left a lot to be desired - there were no warm, cooked food items offered.

We enjoyed the connected rooms as we had 2 rooms with family. It was clean and polite staff. Breakfast was a bonus as the Texas size waffle made the kids so happy. The pool was well kept and clean. Our 5 year old twins had such a great time. The only negative was the breakfast bar needed to be restocked for our last morning but we made due.

Good location

Just stayed one night so stay was good. Bed was comfortable. Bath was clean and in good working order. TV stations are extremely limited. Breakfast did not have very many options. Overall, a good stay for the price.

Very welcoming stay

My husband and I stayed here because I had a medical procedure the next day and we live in Rockport. Upon entry I was greeted by a smile and hello. The check in was quick and easy. The foyer was welcoming and nicely done. This is not a big fancy hotel with multi levels, but I was pleasantly surprised that all the rooms were inside. I really liked that. Usually two story hotels are open to the parking lot. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. They offered a continental breakfast of cereal, fruit, yogurt, waffles, coffee and juices. They also sent texts letting me know if I need anything to just let them know/ I will certainly stay here again if the need arises. I may even stay when there is not a need. Oh and the price was a blessing.

Room itself was clean. I didn't see any roaches in the room. Bed bug free. Pillows were good, bed was good. I did see a roach in the hallway in the first floor, the facilities could use new carpet where there was carpet.

Bed was comfortable. Enjoyed a good night's sleep. Check-in, check out professional and efficient. Grateful for room on ground floor. The cooling/heating unit in room worked very efficiently. Cost was a major factor in the decision to choose this facility. Overall my stay was very satisfactory. Cannot think of any flaws that caught my attention.

A comfortable respite

We were traveling and just needed a place to stay for one night. The staff made us feel so at home and the decor made it feel homey. The next morning we saw more evidence of that outside—a beautiful BBQ area with a garden! It is an older building, but very nicely updated. They made an effort with lamps with plugs-in spots, but if you have a lot of electronics you might want a power strip. Love the beds! You can see under them clearly and they are high enough to put suitcases under. The coffee in the breakfast room is always on, which is nice.

Worst hotel I’ve stayed at

There was no carpet and the floors inside the room felt un swept. The shower curtain wasn’t long enough to keep water in. The light over sink flickered. Not enough light in room. No floor bath towel available. Did not feel safe. People knocked at my door at 7 am and 9:30am. Had to use stairs as no elevator shown to me. The hall ways were creepy and COULD NOT GET MY DOOR TO LOCK FROM THE INSIDE
