โFantastic place to visit Amalfi coast. Away from the tourists Cava de' Tirreni is a real Italian town. The hotel is an old palace, our room was superb with all amenities and our host Dario went out of his way to help. One warning, a car can be expensive to park. But the train connections are very good.โ

I was having some troubles when I was traveling but the hotel manager answered all my questions and helped me a lot.
I even forgot my keys in my room and I didnt know how to get in to the guest house but the hotel clerks helped me at middle of the very late night.
When I checked in, the lady at the front recommended some good restaurants and they were all 5 star quality restaurants.

โResidence zelzar is perfect if you want to experience amalfi coast with less tourists. The town is very cute with lots of ceramic shops and excellent food. The room was well equipped and clean and the management communication was excellent. We had a wonderful time here. Very high up on the hill but easy to drive down with a car or catch the bus. Donโt underestimate the cafe bar royal where we had a free coffee and croissant every morning! Excellent pastries and very friendly. โ

โWe were greeted with Rosa she was the best helped us with anything we needed! : whether it be dining options or even jus the bus routes or where to buy the tickets she was amazing and the property was awesome views vicinity to town was a short 10 min walk although wouldnโt recommend at night. Room was clean and spacious everything we needed was there. Hot tub was nice after long day looking out over the ocean and the picturesque views of the mountain side! Definitely would go back โ

โPerfect location for both train and ferry. A quick walk to the historical centre. The room was spotless with coffee/tea. Nice bathroom. Spotless. Breakfast was a croissant and coffee but at a cafe about 5 minute walk awayโฆ we grabbed ours en route to the boat each morning. โ
โGave us a great recommendation on a restaurant for my birthday- Mediterranea. Secure, elevator a plus, Coop grocery store right behind building. WiFi good. Older building (Italian charm!) but renovated well. Pretty good supply of pans/dishes - induction cooktop! Very attentive hostess (owner?) but not intrusive. Great stay!โ
