Donna Giulia was a delight to stay in. We were a large family (8) and it accommodated us very well. We were very well looked after. Very central and near to excellent restaurants and bars. The beach promenade is just across the way. I strongly recommend staying at Donna Giulia

You will be very surprised to come into a beautifully maintained villa/B&B. The exterior is under construction but the apartments are beautiful, the breakfast is cooked to order(eggs) with fresh bread and pastries , yogurt, fresh fruit. The owner was very helpful, arranging taxis for us to get to the train station and local sites. We would stay there again!

The room was extremely nice, looking out over the water. We were a little nervous when we arrived as the building itself is under renovation however the hotel and rooms themselves are not and are extremely nice. The beds were comfortable and the staff was amazing. We'd had a tour that had been scheduled 3 months prior to our trip cancelled by the operator the day before and the staff worked to find an alternative for us. They suggested restaurants and places to visit in the city and surrounding area and helped us navigate the city and schedule ferries. We would definitely stay again.

The interior of the building was right out of a 1920's villa. Marble everywhere. Beautiful decor. The staff was exceedingly helpful about the history and sights to see. This was only supposed to be a stopover before we went to the Amalfi Coast. There was so much to see, I should have scheduled a couple more days.

A lovely room (one of 5 or so in a beautiful apartment). Spacious, clean and well located. It is in a shared building which is undergoing renovation - although I didn’t see any work being done and the scaffolding looks like it has been up for a long time. So the only downside is that you do have scaffolding and netting in the way of what would be a beautiful view - but it is a lovely space and I would stay there again.

Skønt ophold i Salerno.

Pragtfuldt ophold i Salerno. 2 vennepar. Vi nød de skønne værelser, byen og udflugterne til Amalfikystens byer. Vi nød den fantastisk venlige og hjælpsomme betjening både i reception og til vores morgenbuffet. Donna Giulia får vore bedste anbefalinger

Great hotel near Centro storico

The hotel is very accommodating and wishing that you enjoy Salerno to its fullest. It is conveniently located near Centro storico and many restaurants and shopping. Unfortunately the building is still under renovation so while you can see the sea it is hampered by the netting.

The staff were excellent. The only issues were finding access initially to the building which has been under repair for years and the condition of the ground floor of the building. There is no external signage to the property just their name appears beside buttons next to locked wooden doors. It appears that they don’t exist and the address is an abandoned building. I couldn’t initially find the enterance.
