The check in experience was terrible. The desk clerk said they needed to swipe my credit card for “incidentals”. She couldn’t tell me what the amount would be. Since we were checking in at close to midnight and really needed a place to sleep, I allowed it. When I got to the room, I got a message from my credit card company that the hotel had put a hold on my card for $1,110.00!! The room was paid for in full two months prior! After several phone calls the next day, management reversed the charge but wanted to swipe my card again for “incidentals”. I didn’t do it and they didn’t press the issue.
When we checked out, we got the same desk clerk that checked us in. She was not friendly. I was not even asked how our stay was.
We stayed 7 nights and received no service until the last day. I had to ask for trash bags, toilet paper and clean towels. I understand it’s an extended stay hotel, but some service should be provided mid-week instead of the last day.
The facility itself was nice enough and it was nice to have a two bedroom suite, so I would consider staying again but not if they’re going to hold my credit card for ransom for over a thousand dollars!
