"Parking was very convenient. Staff for the most part was good some staff didn’t speak at all even when looking directly at you but other than that it was a nice stay."

"We have stayed at this hotel several times a year, every time we attend an event at the Harvester. Over the years, the condition of the property continues to decline. The side entrance door does not close securely making it easy for non guests to enter. The bathroom shower curtain had dark black hairs all over it. The shampoo, conditioner and soap dispensers have been removed. The ceiling in the bathroom has mold on it. Very disappointing as this has been our go to hotel wherever we are in Rocky Mount for a night of music. We will be looking for a different place to stay next month. "

"This place is run down and very low end. It’s cheap for a reason, but in this case it isn’t even worth the $60 a night. I’d rather be camping outside. Our room smelled like a wet dog, the shower barely worked, the cold water side of the sink faucet didn’t work, the wall mounted heater was really loud. The sheets looked clean, so there’s that. You weren’t expecting this to be the Bellagio, but it’s barely a functional motel. "

"I use a wheelchair. The parking was close and made it easier for me. The room was spacious. I was happy to see that the bed was a regular height not high like the trend now in many hotels."

"Well, to start with the ice machine was out of service. They did give me a plastic bag with ice in it. Next, there was a cigarette burn on the bed sheet. I didn’t complain about that or the fact that there was no where to hang clothes. There seemed to be an area for that, but the rod was not there. However, the main problem was the TV was unwatchable. I had to go to the front desk three times to address the TV issue. And they sent someone to the room each time, but the problem was not fixed. The last time the maintenance man came and I asked him to switch out the TV and the TV box. He acted like they didn’t know if they had one so I asked him to take one out of a room that was not used. I know there were plenty of vacant rooms because I can see the curtains open in them when I walk along the entrance. He said he would check it at the front desk, but he never came back to my room or responded. I complained when I left. Very bad experience. "
