The Hotel is located in a charming village Newmillerdam. There is a large serene beautiful stream near the Hotel St Pierre, where you can take a walk, Wakefield centre is 15 minutes drive away. The Staff were pleasant and In room coffee is a blessing after a very long drive. Omellete breakfast to order was a delightful experience,

Stopped over one nightroom was very clean with white bed linen and white towels in bathroom which again had all the requirements. Tee and coffee equipment was provided but only enough for one cup each. Breakfast cereal was limited in choice as was bread. Full English breakfast was nice as was the omelette. Breakfast waitress was overworked as she had to do reception until 0830 and room was quite full. Overall a pleasant stay

Great value!

We've stayed here twice now and the staff are always friendly and very helpful. The rooms are great for the price and the hotel is in a fantastic location just up from the village and surrounded by picturesque places to walk.

Room was clean enough, bed comfy and dated but functional bathroom. It’s a budget hotel though so perfectly ok for a short stay.

Staff were absolutely lovely. Walls are thin though so it can be noisy from other guests. Water pressure is reslly bad - toilet doesn't flush properly, shower is very weak.

Room clean, a bit strange with the roof supports into the room with Mind Your Head stickers on. Personally we would have preferred a shower cubicle instead of shower over the bath. Breakfast was very good

Good value for money

Enjoyed our stopover here. Staff very pleasant. The room was value for what we paid. Lovely bedding and towels. Comfortable beds. Nice clean bathroom. Good over bath shower. Water nice and hot and good pressure. Nice to have tea and coffee facilities in the room. Room temperature hot due to outside temperatures soaring. Just ask at reception for a fan if required.

Very basic, but clean and very average

Hotel was clean. Staff very friendly. Hotel rooms extremely basic and boring. No pictures on walls, or any colour in the room. View from window was non existent as staring at a building roof immediately outside

Hotel is a great price and is a little tired but comfortable and you have what you need for a stop over. Unfortunately chef took ill so couldn’t eat there but menu looked good. Instead they recommended the Dam Inn which was amazing food!
