Service was good, the staff seemed experienced and competent. The breakfast was complimentary and was okay for a morning or two. The room is where things are a bit disappointing: a stale, musty odor, an older A/C unit that is a bit loud when running, and old furnishings and beddings. My daughter said when she first walked in that she wasn't sure if she should take her shoes off, because the room has such a shabby feel to it. But the room had a small refrigerator, a microwave, and a coffee maker, so that was nice.
The location is good, a very easy drive to downtown Park Rapids.
The Super 8 Park Rapids is fine for a night or two, and is obviously competitively priced.
