Older property. It served the purpose. Only amenity used was the continental breakfast. Dry goods, cereals, fruit bagels. Set-up in the lobby. Good variety of snacks (granola bars, peanuts, etc). No egg, waffles or potatoes options, but it served the purpose.

The Silver Inn is located in the west end of Kellogg, on one of the community's two main streets that run along each side of Interstate 90. Although not far from a freeway exit, it is in a quiet part of town where traffic is minimal. The property looked well maintained on both the outside and inside. The room that was assigned to me also has a clean appearance, with a nice soft carpet and all amenities in good working order. The desk clerks were friendly and helpful. I would recommend this lodging facility to anyone looking for a quiet, clean, comfortable, and trouble-free room at a reasonable price. It's on my list of places to stay the next time I am vacationing in Northern Idaho.

The room was clean. The property is old. They’ve tried to keep it up, but it’s not great. The area was sketchy. I felt uneasy with my car parked in the lot. The mattress was not great, and the pillows were lumpy.

The hotel was okay. I think the price was a bit high compared to other newer,or more updated hotels in the area I could have stayed at for about the same price. The breakfast was nothing more than some bagels, muffins and trail mix. I wouldn't advertise thst as a free breakfast. Maybe just call it a light snack for the road. Again,the competitors in town likely offered a lot more for the free breakfast. It is advertised as "Pet Friendly" but a $40 additional charge for a night was a bit much. This is a budget quality hotel... that price is more aligned to a much newer/modern hotel. The room was clean. It would have been nice to know there were no elevators ahead of time. Lugging all our suitcases up a flight of stairs after a long day of traveling is not what I expected. As I said, overall it was fine for a budget hotel... unfortunately, the prices were not set at budget hotel price levels. They were on par with the 2 star hotels in the same small town. The breakfast was laughable.
