"Stayed in a King Suite with an ocean view at Ocean Promenade Hotel and overall had a really nice experience. The room was beautiful, super clean, and had a small kitchen stocked with most of the essentials, which was a great bonus. The balcony was a nice feature, though it could use a better clean and the patio furniture felt a bit dated. The bed was a little too firm for my personal preference, but still comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep. You can hear the train passing by, which is definitely loud, but oddly enough it added a bit of a romantic, seaside vibe. The lobby was under construction during our stay, and check-in was slower than expected, which wasn’t ideal. That said, the staff were all very friendly and helpful, which made a big difference. One downside is that onsite parking felt overpriced. Overall, a great stay with a few minor areas for improvement, but the location and room quality really stand out."

"Do not come to this hotel. They do not have internet and when I asked them to fix it they said it is ok which did not work. I could jot work at hotel during my stay. They also charge a lot!"

"Rooms are clean, beds have a zippered encasement on the mattress. Free breakfast at the restaurant is standard best western continental breakfast food. Location is near bus and skytrain. Building is oddly set up. The bedroom door of each room leads directly to the outside, the bathroom sink is on the outside of the bathroom. I was given an adjoining room even though I was the only guest in my party. The soundproofing for the room, likely because it was an adjoining one was not good."

"Clean and affordable. Located in an industrial area so 6 am to 4 pm, it is very noisy."

"The room in the main building was nicer compared to the motel section (less musty smelling). I had to go back to the hotel to check for lost earrings. I attempted to call the lost and found line but there was no answer and they said they closed at 4pm (I went back earlier than that and found that the lost and found staff had gone home.) Updating hours for that would be helpful. The front desk staff were helpful and had gone up to the room to check but said they couldn't find anything. I asked if I could take a look and they accompanied me. I ended up finding both earrings on the floor of the bathroom so that was a win. Breakfast is minimal but everything was good enough for the price."

"I like the indoor whirlpool tub. It was the most luxurious and satisfying experience at the hotel. Alex at the front desk was extremely friendly and welcoming. I felt like being at home with a friend from somewhere. The balcony allowed me to get a city view in the mornings. Dislike: Carpeting is showing signs of aging in room, public area and in the gym Wall paper in room in peeling off and getting old, yellowish look. The gym room did not even have bulk bottled water dispenser available. I guess the executives would have to get used to drinking tap water directly from tap. Machines need to be wiped down from time to time. How about cleaning the windows for a clearer view from the room?"
