โAnother hotel room that looks like it hasn't changed since the 50's. Small, cramped and extremely dated, I thought my money would have provided something nicer.โ
โWe had a 1 night stay while attending a nearby festival, but wish we'd stayed longer. The most wonderful staff, particularly Mandy on Reception who was super friendly and helpful. 11 out of 10!
In addition, the bed had a very comfortable mattress, the rooms had lovely views, the location was great just off the A1. We had a drink on the terrace in the sunshine and enjoyed everything this hotel had to offer. Recommend!โ
โSuper staff, spotless and comfortable roomโฆ I had a quiet and very restful sleep. I also had a very nice dinner at the restaurant as well. Breakfast was delivered properly and was very tasty โ I would stay here again!โ
โLovely hotel, our room was great and breakfast fantastic. Didnโt use the pool, fitness centre or spa so canโt comment but they looked nice. Did do a 7km walk run on one of the recommended routes around the hotel which was very scenic. Weโll definitely return when the build is finished and new restaurant is open.โ
โThe owner was quite a character full of life and interesting to talk to,although we only stayed one night,based on that stay we would be happy to have stayed longer.the landladyโs cooking was very good and she to was very sociableโ
โLovely clean fresh room.
Everything you need for a stay, there was fresh milk, juice, bread,butter., jam in the fridge ready for breakfast. Toaster and microwave in the room too. Plus tea and coffee โ
โThe hotel staff were lovely, we were upgraded to a deluxe room with a hot tub, as it was my partners 50th birthday. Also a lovely touch, a bottle of prosecco waiting in the room with a card.
