“They were easy to deal with. Good Breakfast and room.”

“I would describe it as a suitable, low-cost place for a one-night stay.”

“We really enjoyed our stay! Margaret was lovely and the rooms were quaint and homey. We also enjoyed walking through the gardens in the morning. Highly recommended!”

“Could use a renovation and refresh. For the rate we paid, definitely not worth it. When we were there, there was a hockey tournament so the kids were very loud, running up and down the corridors. Pizza boxes and garbage in the hallways. Good thing we were only staying for one night.”

“I went as a solo traveller in fall on a work trip. I was upgraded to a room with a porch and a view. The staff were excellent. I had dinner one night in the restaurant and the food and service was very good. My room was very comfortable. I would like to go back in season and stay in a cottage.”

Given how empty the property was, I asked about moving to a lake-view room. Although many were available, I was charged an additional $75 per night plus...

“Lovely stay at a lovely property. Beds were comfy with glorious linens, in rooms on the smaller side. Stairs are curved and fairly steep so not great for anyone with stair issues. Spectacular views and gorgeous sitting areas in a unique rustic setting. Host went above and beyond to accomodate us. Kitchen was adequately stocked for basic meal prep. Would definitely recommend this place to others.”
