The first room I was placed in had mold in the bathtub, extreme dust in the heating/cooling unit, a tv that didn’t get many channels and quality sucked, a disgusting black grocery bag of ice that had melted in the freezer so the black grocery bag was just stuck in there, water stains on the ceiling. It was horrible. I went and complained and the guy was very nice to me and upgraded me to the honeymoon suite, but that too was pretty gross. When moving our stuff we also discovered a cat in the hotel that seemed to stay wherever. The upgraded room had mold all over the shower handle and floor, gross carpet that was torn off the wall. I paid for 3 nights not realizing this place is this bad and I left after 1 night because I just felt this place was so unsafe and dangerous because of the conditions. Definitely not a good place to take a child. Go somewhere else. This place should be shut down by the health department.

No. staff at the reception desk could be more friendly and hospitable. It was a cold winter night, bed had only bedsheets covers, no extra blanket provided. TV in the room had no remote control, front desk staff didn't take it seriously. Shower tab water was not draining well, not taken seriously.

The room was gross. Stained up dust ruffle. Stained top cover. One spot looked like dried blood? Caulking was falling off the tub. I did take pictures and I did show them to the front desk. No apologies from the staff of the condition of the room. The staff switched to our room. Toilet had water ring, tub was not very clean, lights were horrible in the bathroom, mattress was stained and you could see it through the sheet. We heard another guest saying that his ceiling was leaking from the room above and the staff seemed a bit clueless and no maintenance on staff? Table in the lobby area had food crumbs all over it. The stairs from the lobby going upstairs were disgusting. You could tell they have not been vacuumed in a long time.

The room felt neglected the whole building looked like they were working on it no amenities the pool was shut down and it looked like people were living in the hotel and staff looked it very sketchy spent the night and left the next day very not impressed

My experience was horrible, there was mold all around the tub ,the room was filthy there was holes in the wall in the ceiling the floors were sticky the tub itself when you turn the Jets on the water was Brown ,I went to the staff and was treated poorly they gave me a styrofoam cup of some cleaner to clean it myself I stayed there a total of an hour and a half would not refund my money would not give me a better room I left the establishment drove the three and a half hours back home it was a horrible experience even worse treatment the pool was discolored and had a smell I do not recommend I had no more money to stay anywhere else so I had to return back home unable to work the next day

the 2 that checked us in were very nice and the girl was in training and doing very good. when we got to our room there was a hole in the wall, the tub was pictured to be in the room but was in the bathroom, there was mold and a mcdonald’s drink in our fridge, scratches on things, top of the bed was scratched up, bathroom was fine but had broke tiles, the metal lock on the door was broke. we did take pictures as soon as we went in to cover ourselves just in case with dates and times.

Very dirty. Very noisy. I talked to the morning desk manager and she blew me off. Did not care about my concerns. The tub was filthy and the drain had mold around it. There were ceiling tiles missing. A leak was repaired and the tiles were not replaced and it was dirty. Linen was old and worn and not full size. I told a maid she didn’t have to do the room she rudely told me that they don't do rooms on the weekends anyway. I have pictures. This motel is WAY BELOW the standards for Expedia. I really feel I should be refunded.

I will never stay here again. The lobby is nice but after you go around the corner to the elevators you start to see the mess. The hallway leading to the room smelled of animal pee, cigarettes, and other things. The room was so bad with water stains all over, ceiling tiles not put back into place, and there were cob webs everywhere and bugs in the window. The furniture had rips and stains all over, and the bed was as hard as a rock. When we walked outside we saw people hanging out the window to smoke cigarettes, there was trash all over, and the door said you needed your card key to enter but that was broken so anyone could walk in and out whenever. We stayed one night when we booked two and I will never return to that place.

This was a very loud unruly property. People did not keep their children in check. There were fighting outside the building. You could hear noise all night long people running up and down the hallways. It was dirty and they overcharged us and when I checked out early they did not credit us.

The hotel is extremely run-down. My son and I used the pool briefly, it is open to the general public, beyond guests. It's cleanliness quickly became a health and safety issue, as there were feces in the pool. More people were actually living there, than travelers staying there. The American Inn and Suites is not as advertised. But we made it through the night.

The hotel is in serious need of repair. Our entire floor smelled of dogs. The bathroom had broken towel racks hanging by one screw and tape holding the bathtub enclosure together. The bed was as hard as a rock. All the wood surfaces and even the door was scratched and worn. The elevator was smelly and dilapidated. The carpets in the room were worn through. It seemed to be a party hotel for some, lots of smoking and drinking and shouting. The staff were lovey if you could find them. Never again.

It smelled like cigarettes and cat urine. There were cockroaches on the floor and mold in the shower ceiling. The bed was not a real frame and looked unstable. We felt truly uncomfortable and unsafe to stay there and left.

First off, the lobby leaked from the ceiling. Twice. The room smelled absolutely HORRENDOUS; like dirty socks and dog piss, attempted to be masked by cheap men's cologne. The blankets -Oh, wait ... What blankets? They literally had two sheets as a blanket. Sad, we had to go buy a blanket for the weekend. Not sure if that's worse than the hellian children running around, screaming and stomping through the halls all hours of the night ... or the food that laid spilled in the hallway from 8pm until 11am the next morning. I'm usually not one to complain, but spend the extra money to go somewhere more comfortable.
