Beautiful rooms, I've never seen so many light switches and sockets to plug into ! let down by poor maintenance on the bathroom doors, which didn't close due to not fitting in the frame by a few cm! Maybe they were just being installed, but not great when you can't close the door. We had a very fancy fan, but would be cautious booking without air-con in the hotter times. Breakfast was good ! proper bread, and a chef who can cook eggs without them being snotty or hard boiled ! Room had everything we needed and more - didn't expect a mini fridge with fresh milk, really nice touch.

Fantastic stay here. Staff were outstanding, room was fantastic with an amazing shower too and the cooked breakfast one of the best I've ever eaten. Fixed price evening menu was really good value for money too. Highly recommend the Hampshire Hog

Really nice place to stay. Comfortable bed, nice coffee machine in the room with a wonderful shower! The food is excellent. I had fish and chips one night and pie the next. Breakfast is delicious (I’d recommend the healthy breakfast) I shall return if I need accommodation in the area again.

Excellent staff very warm welcome on arrival. The bed was fabulous and the shower was equally as good very refreshing plenty of power. Also has excellent charging facilities on site Instavolt X4. Certainly will book again when I'm in the area many thanks to the staff for looking after our needs.

Recently refurbished in an attractive rural style the rooms are comfortable and well equipped. No air conditioning but a remote controlled Dyson fan was provided. The staff without exception were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine but could have done with some fresh fruit on the buffet table. However, when asked we were brought some pineapple which was good. The tables in the bar/restaurant were nicely laid out for dinner with proper napkins! The food was was generally typically hearty pub style. All in all highly recommended.

The rooms are comfortable with everything you need and staff had sorted our adjoining rooms as I'd requested on expedia. Rooms were clean with good facilities - all you need. Evening food in the pub was lovely, but the full English breakfast was fantastic! To top it off - lovely staff and will definitely stay again.
