โStayed at the location for a trip to Newbury Races (Cost approx ยฃ10 in a taxi). Very good location with bonus of on site parking. Excellent bar and food choices. Easy walking distance to local pubs and restaurants. Would thoroughly recommend. โ

โGreat find for our visit to Newbury. Breakfast included, 4 options to choose from and served in the pub restaurant. Also ate there both nights, food and service excellent. Room had all you needed, large room plus walk in shower. โ
โWe loved the features throughout the building. The beams, low ceilings, uneven floors...really kept the character of the building. Rooms were nice albeit a bit strange having the shower in the room and not in the ensuite but good use if available space given grade 2 listed building regulations.โ
โDelightful linens, food, ales, garden... and the staff are wonderful. A hidden gem that is a beautiful getaway easily accessible by car or railroad - or indeed on the Kennet by boat!โ
