โRoom was very large and comfortable. Exactly as described and right downtown. Very walkable to all attractions and dining. Jo was a great host and provided excellent, large breakfast. Piano bar downstairs on Thurs - Sat nights. Would stay again. โ
โThe rooms were clean and well stocked you had everything you needed. The host was very friendly and the breakfast was lovely with lots of choices. My dog loved her sausage every morning.โ
โFriendly staff, great location for the museum, theatre, seafront and harbour. There is a bus stop right outside for Barnstaple for shopping. We asked if we could have a ground floor room when we booked and that was what we were given. The bathroom was large and very clean. We had to leave early as our granddaughter was unwell and the night staff were very helpful. We would stay in this hotel again.
Only downside was the decor was a bit tired in our room.โ
โI booked online and then researched the Holiday Park after (slightly backwards way of doing it) but Iโm glad I didnโt take all the reviews too seriously, Iโve stayed in far worse hotels than this. Obviously late December is definitely not peak season either but still enough people about. The kids loved the pool and there was an on duty life guard and cafe. Our apartment was nice too. If I could give 1 bit of feedback itโs that the changing room for the pool is an open 1 room which the boys...
