However, my Google Maps App had problem with the location so it took more than that. The room was great. When we received our welcome email from the property manager we learned that the free parking was only for stays of a week or longer. “Breakfast OK. Not big variety as expected. Hot food is made on demand plus a buffet with cereals, bread, etc. Mattress was worn out and the springs were sticking out, affecting my sleep. Also, too soft mattress. Nice size bathroom but dated. Cold room despite trying to regulate the radiator. Smelly room which has showed that there was no ventilation before my arrival. Thin wall. I could hear the other guest in the other room snoring and moving about. Definitely not 4 star accommodation. ”

The pub in Mousehole (5 min walk) was good. Parking is a short distance away but make sure you have cell / text service to use the parking app in case the only machine in the lot isn't working as the next lot is 2 miles away! “Unbelievably hot room on a mild spring day. Our room was small, but clearly inadequately ventilated as even with the provided Dyson fan permanently on full blast and the window open the room was stiflingly hot on a day that didn’t exceed 16 degrees. ”
