We always recommend the mostly flat walk along Lambton Quay to the Cable Car, this takes guests to the top of the neighbouring Botanic Gardens and it's a lovely downhill walk back to the hotel. Our Classic Suites have a variety of outlooks, from the Thorndon Hills to city views, while the temporary scaffolding of our neighbours is unfortunatly out of our control, I can see that our team had made their best efforts to get you into a refurbished room. We were alarmed to hear the shower was broken. If you have any further information regarding this it would be much appreciated, rest assured our maintenance team are investigating. Had we been made aware at the time our team are always able to help and could have rectified it at the time. While your recent stay was a room only rate, keep an eye out for our bed and breakfast specials through the year which include our buffet breakfast.Warm regards,Paul
