“This hotel is in a great location for exploring the area. Canal walk, aqueduct and tunnel all within walking distance. Enough choice for places to eat right on the doorstep. Hotel was clean, and our room had everything we needed (apart from a hairdryer!). Good value for money too. Would recommend.”

“Very new, lovely hosts absolutely dog friendly, our dog had his own breakfast everyday! It is rural, so sometimes internet glitches, but we were there over a stormy weekend and the electric substation across the road blew up. Power was back on very quickly.”

“Friendly helpful staff in a lovely setting.😊”

“Would have been a 5 star review but I asked the first night if staff could kindly remind other residents to move away from the front steps of the building whilst smoking kate at night as it comes into the bedroom window. Second night I had to ask 3 different gentlemen to please move away as their smoke was keeping me awake and affecting my asthma. Two were very apologetic and moved but the 3rd I got abuse from and it was not nice😞.”

“Perfect location (two minute walk to daughter's house); excellent breakfasts, particularly the porridge; fun pub downstairs, loved a cappella rehearsal.”

“Was a pleasure staying at Hawkstone Park Hotel. The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. Staff were friendly and welcoming, only thing was the parking. Seemed like the people coming to play golf were parking in the hotel car park. But other than that it was a nice place to stay”

“The hotel was lovely but the lift sounded like it was u n need of maintenance”
