"I mainly chose it for the breakfast buffet, they have become few and far between in Las Vegas. And the location - we were mostly planning to visit national and state parks around Las Vegas, and this hotel is very convenient for the major highways, both north/south and east/west directions. Breakfast had lots of options (though I wish it opened earlier than it did, since we would leave so early for more distant locations). Casino was a bit dated but we didn't come to gamble, so it was fine. It felt very safe and reasonably clean and quiet. Fremont Street was nearby. Dinner was surprisingly good and very reasonably priced. Beer was good too, I tasted all of their offerings."

"Property itself was ok. It was great to be able to use the circa pool, but it was a hassle trying to check in. Mydelf and others in my party, our hotel rooms were not ready, there seemed to be a lack of communication between different departments. The from desk didn't really have an explanation for any of it, and seemed annoyed when I was asking questions about it."

"Quick and efficient check-in, friendly staff, room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Bathroom was a bit strange, almost as though you were in a closet with tile.. the toilet, sink and shower were all on different rooms.. very weird! But, it was only for a single night. "

"If you want a dose of aloha and cannot make it to the islands, Las Vegas is the place to come and the Cal is the place to stay. Comfortable, great food, lovely staff. Safe and the slots were kind too!"
