"The room was very comfortable, the hotel was nice however you are allocated only 1 hour to use the spa/swimming pool area. I have experienced this at numerous hotels in the last year or so and I think its a terrible policy, particuarly when the hotel is not so busy. The breakfast was also an absolute rip off at £25.00 each when booking at the hotel. I would suggest walking to Rada coffee which is just 2 mins away and get a beautiful breakfast for half the cost. Swimming pool was also much smaller than what the images led us to believe and the sauna was not hot enough as its not a typical sauna. Wouldn't stay here again at the price point."

"All good. As I was only 1 person a double bed rather than 2 singles would have been preferred. The socket for the kettle is in an off place behind the phone. Coffee would would have been nice - just two tea bags. Small towels as well as big towel would be nice - and I realise that Ibis is a budget option"

"It was so convenient to walk to the hotel from my gate. Last time I spent the night at LHR it was a 50 pound taxi ride to get to the hotel that was less than 2 miles from the airport and I had to wait in a queue to get there. The rooms are small but there is plenty of room for sleeping, storing luggage, showering and watching TV or reading. There is also a nice lounge with free tea, coffee, and places to hang out and read, work or watch Tv. I would definitely stay there again!"

"With regard to the rooms this hotel is a tale of two cities - the newer upgrade rooms are very good. The older rooms are tired, smaller and not so good. Breakfast is excellent and good value. Some bar costs are high, so check prices before ordering. We used it for one-night airports stays - it works. They also host conferences and weddings, so not exclusively an airport hotel."
