"This is a very elegant hotel with spacious, well-maintained rooms. The bed was large and comfortable, the dresser very functional (with lights built in). I would recommend rooms with a window, especially facing the back courtyard. The lighting of the room was ideal, with many different options. The bathroom was small, but the shower was spacious and had a great rain shower head, with instant warm water. The entrance to the hotel is a bit awkward (narrow door and corridor, leading to the elevator), but it leads to a really great hotel. The location is ideal: in walking distance to restaurants, shopping, transportation."

"We travelled to Oxford for a break from city life and found this lovely hotel. The service was great on check-in. The bar service was also very good. Drinks were a little bit on the pricey side of things. Our room was lovely and well presented and we found the bed to be really comfortable. There was one issue however. at night the balcony lights would come on automatically, which meant light attempted to shine into the room. If I woke up early without looking at the clock, I think the Sun was rising. "

"Self service breakfast with lots of choice, teas, coffee machine, fruit, cereals, breads. Lovely clean kitchen and dining area. We had a King Sized bedroom that was very comfortable. Ensuite very clean and shoerr was excellent. Beautiful curtains in bedroom. Instructions for entry etc very clear. Excellently placed for a 15 minute walk into Oxford. Buses from train station as road closed for train bridge work. We had parking behind the property. We would recommend staying here and would certainly stay again. Thank you."
