“The breakfast was, I’d say, better than in a Hotel Ibis. The food was, definitely, locally sourced. We reached Bruton and the Hauser & Wirth arts complex easily from this hotel. We also visited the Jurassic Coast, but that took us a whole day, and we returned by 10pm.”

“The pub itself and the breakfast were great but the room i had smelled damp and needed some love! The bed was very old with person shape dents in the mattress The owner came out immediately to fix a light but as he couldn't reassure me that the other rooms were any better I left after one night of no sleep.”

“Breakfast was excellent with friendly and efficient staff. Between midnight and 3:00am there was a great deal of drunken singing in the street. One of the revellers tapped on my bedroom window. Perhaps this was a one time event(England vs Norway.). It wasn’t really a problem for me, but my wife, had she been there with me, would have felt threatened by this. The lack of night security should be remedied.”

“A excellent stay prior to a flight from Bristol Airport. Restaurant was excellent with a good selection of food and drinks. The staff made you feel welcome. Car parking was great and only 15-20 minutes from the airport. Will definitely stay again.”

“Good quiet location on the edge of Bridgwater looking out onto fields. Busy pub mid-week in April when we were there with people sitting out enjoying the weather. Good dinner and breakfast.”

“The B&B is definitely the best in my experience. Bedroom as well as bathroom are very clean and tidy. The paper folders in bathroom is antique-wise. Also electrical equipments are convenient and cool. Coffee server and fridge are stylish. Lights are well designed. Breakfast is delicious and plenty. Graham’s homemade jams are excellent. “We stayed for 4 nights in this historic inn which is very centrally located in Wells; just a stone’s throw from the cathedral. It has a nice pub and the food was good including the breakfast (which was not included in our package). The staff were friendly and helpful. A fan was provided as it was an unusually warm week. Our room, and the courtyard leading to it, could use an update.”

“A great, and very well (recently) refurbished Coaching Inn, right in the heart of Frome, with a fab breakfast and helpful friendly staff as well. Having stayed in a few "brewery chain" old coaching inns recently where the "updating" seems to involve only a coat of paint and a new shelf in the bathroom, it was very welcome to find that the rooms (anbd bathrooms) at the George have been completely and professionally re-done to "you'd be very pleased if this was your own house" standard. “Great to see EV charge points at places like this - it makes us much more likely to book if we know this is available. The room was small but comfortable. Food service in the pub was friendly and helpful - this included breakfast too.”
