"I have stayed at several hotels in West Springfield but this was my first stay at this Comfort Inn. I had a fiasco with another hotel cancelling my booking and this entire area was sold out on a Saturday night (Columbus Day weekend) and after rechecking dozens of times through the night, this hotel popped up, it was very expensive, but I booked to get any room I could to not mess up my trip plans. Circumstances impacted price and won't be factored into review. I had room 117, right behind the lobby, and it was a suite with a kitchen, living room with lovely warm fire place, and separate bedroom! It was very comfortable, spacious, and mostly clean, although I found a couple spiders in the bathroom and there was a tile missing by the room entrance. The staff were friendly, I told them about my situation, and he told me how several people called to get a room, but they were sold out, and I certainly got lucky! Staff kept referring to key card rather than answer directly about breakfast or check out times. The room had plenty of lighting and a full size fridge. Water pressure was good, shower had some stains, and bathroom counter could be more spacious. I did not like how breakfast ends at 9am daily, too early especially on weekend, although there was a good selection of items, I liked the omelettes, and left satisfied. I will consider this property again in future when in the area, it is a bit secluded, but was quiet! Older property but maintained relatively well!"

"Overall I had a great two day stay at the Quality Inn. I have stayed here over a dozen times when in the area to visit Six Flags, my previous visit was in the spring, and they have made some updates since! I noticed new chairs in the hallways and room, and the exterior of the building was repainted a new color and looks more modern! I had room 421, a 2 queen, which was mostly clean and comfortable. Only issue was the new tan chair by the door looked comfortable, but I did not sit in it, as it had long hairs and sticky residue all over the cushion... Otherwise the room was clean, beds were comfortable with 4 pillows on each bed, lots of towels, and fridge worked great! The lamp between the bed did not work though... At check in, the man with tattoos on his hands wasn't that friendly or welcoming but did honor my request for a higher floor. Later, when returning from dinner next door (Great Japanese restaurant!) I heard him tell a guest she had the entire 5th floor to herself, which was annoying as each night I had neighbors who I could hear easily through the walls... Why not space out guests when there is space? I woke up my first morning to hearing the neighbors talk... Breakfast was fine with a decent variety, I liked the donuts, eggs were decent, as was the sausage. The room was a great value and I will return. It looks like the first floor was restored for guest use again too! Nice to see some changes and hope they continue renovating and updating the property!"

"The facility needs some upkeep. The doors need insulation and adjustment so there are no gaps between the door and the frame. Rooms were dirty and the beds were not attached to the headboard and slid when sitting up on the bed. The room next to the motel sign needs better blackout curtains because it looked like it was daytime when we had the curtains closed and the lights off. Other occupants were smoking weed and load outside our doors so better patrolling from staff would be nice. The rooms we had this time were much roomier than some of the other rooms they have. Not a terrible experience, but some updates would go a long way."

"The room smelt a bit musty/BO s and the shower head was terrible. Good guest laundry facilities, bed was super comfy and room was generally clean. Wifi was moderate. Location handy for nearby suburbs and close to shops."
