Quiet hotel, in the centre of town with easy access to the railway station. Friendly staff who were very welcoming.

I was so positively surprised by this property. The breakfast buffet was opulent, the restaurant and bar looked newly renovated. We booked the least expensive room with a queen bed, and it was stylish, recently updated, had a seating area with a pullout sofa, a desk and ample built-in storage, as well as a lovely bathroom. We stayed for three nights, and there was always a team member at the front desk ready to assist with anything. Highly recommend this place!

Very close to the train station. Just a few minutes walk to the centre of town. Everything was good, if this is in your budget then you can’t go wrong.

We were in town for a seminar. It was walking distance to most of the things we needed. Took a nice bath in the tub and I really liked the soap they had.

Another good stay, one of my go to hotels when staying in Leeds. Reception staff very friendly, my room had a few minor issues.... Hair dryer but not plugs near any of the mirror so not much use. Also when went for breakfast had to wait a while to be seated as the lady on was no where to be seen eventually a cleaner told me to speak reception who found the relevant person

Hotel is fine if you need to be in the business district of Leeds. It’s a 5-10 min walk from the shopping district. Room was decent size and had all the typical amenities and space you need. However, I had an issue with my check in which I was not pleased about: Had 2 separate bookings for 2 back to back nights and specifically updated my comments on the 2nd booking to ensure my stay was joined up. I also asked this at check in and confirmed all ok. After going into the room and starting to relax and unpack I get a call from reception to say I can’t stay in my room for the second night and will need to be moved to a different room. It was only when I expressed my disappointment and had attempted to flag my concerns twice prior to be given the room keys that they managed to find me another room (in the meantime I was sat in my room waiting to see if I could unpack or be ready to move !) Another issue I had was the shower gel provided (Rituals) was watered down. A great example of the consistency is when you add water to a shampoo bottle to get the last bit of it out! I was extremely disappointed with this . Staff weren’t the most friendliest, possibly can be described as transactional and it felt like my room issue was more of a burden than an issue that needed resolving!

Lovely hotel, in a great location
Nice hotel with friendly staff. The room was big and spacious. It was very clean and the bed was super comfy. I would happily stay here again.

Executive family room.
Had a executive room, which was good, nice little touches and very comfortable. A little hot overnight, maybe. Room was ready for arrival at 12pm. Parking was £15 for 24hrs…..the car park is extremely tight for a large car. We got a free drink at the bar with this room type - anything except cocktails. Breakfast was really good for us. Plea Ty of choice and good quality sausage and bacon. Could have done with a few more child friendly options (coco pops or rice crispies perhaps).

Disappointed
We booked with Novotel Leeds last week for 2 nights for our anniversary and my wife’s birthday, we have stayed there before and really enjoyed it unfortunately we made a mistake and arrived a day late on our second night [completely our fault] Emily on reception was lovely and suggested if we went to reception the following morning the manager may be able to transfer our money from the first night to the following evening , she did say we might be asked to put an additional payment towards it When we got to our room it was clear they didn’t think we would be coming at all as the room was nothing like the quality of the room we had booked when we had visited previously, it was at best average when we had payed for a superior room When I went to reception the next morning I was told there was no chance of transferring our payment to the following evening and if we wanted the same room that night it was at a charge of £260 Although we totally except it was our mistake with the booking we felt the room was not the room we had booked judging it on previous visits and staying in many different Novotels Although the hotel clearly had availability they were in no way prepared to help and we felt Novotel made no effort to in our unfortunate situation

Stayed for one night due to a works Christmas meal. Room was warm and cosy. Everything I wanted, to be fair. Easy check in and check out. Breakfast was good.

Great one night stay!
Great stay, great location slightly out the centre of Leeds making the outside not so noisy even on a Saturday night. Only issue I had was a whirring sound in our room all night, not sure if it was some sort of boiler or fan outside... But I'm a lught sleeper so that's probably why it bothered me (didn't bother my husband!) The bed could have been a bit comfier but I managed to sleep on it. Amazing shower and very clean. Breakfast was the BEST. Even the fruit and pastries were fresh so can't go wrong there!

We enjoyed a recently refurbished room on the 4th floor. Room was clean and tidy, all amenities works flawlessly. Breakfast was delightful, something for everyone. Car parking was limited and somewhat tight but great value and secure.

Traffic in Leeds Centre terrible and the new Blue bus lanes not on the sat nav to get to the hotel and may get fined. Hotel was good.
