“We had a lovely stay in the George. A wonderful warm welcome and a lovely spacious room. All the staff were friendly and so helpful and attentive. We don't have a dog but there were well behaved dogs there. Excellent value for money. A short walk to the seafront and the town centre. ”

“We stayed in Room 22. Grrat views of the beach and Weymouth Bay. Check in was easy. There is no reception, you ring the bell or call the number posted on the door. We were met by Dean who checked us in. The room is up 2 flights of stairs and was warm, but after opening the windows, it cooled down. There were no fans, but my portable fan did help at night. “I've stayed here multiple times and it is a gem. Located close to the Bovington Tank Museum it has cozy rooms and a wonderful pub with a solid menu, including being extremely good for people with food allergies. I have celiac disease and having several gluten free options (e.g., starters, entres, deserts, beer, etc) at a small hotel is unexpected.
