"The property is as marketed,an old building that was not built for todays customers but is trying to appeal to one and all with most facilities directed at a younger demographic, although most guests during our stay were of the older generation who appeared to be satisfied. The access to the bedrooms is a bit quirkey in that you have to take two separate lifts, the first from reception on the lower ground floor to the ground floor and then walk along the corriador to the second lift to take you up...
"The room was smaller than expected, but this was partly on us for booking late with limited choice, but it could have been better maintained.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and the bar and restaurant were very good with a nice outside seating area."
