“Although a comfortable stay a few things were not to the standard that would warrant the room price. 1) only one pack of biscuits for two people not good 2) a significant number of cobwebs around the corners of the room, ceilings and floors 3) towels had marks on them 4) for a two night stay I would have expected the room to be cleaned, towels to be changed, clean coffee cups and coffee/biscuits replenished 5) no breakfast provided, I have stayed in cheaper places with breakfast provided. Even...

“We had no running hot water other than the electric shower. No wardrobe just hangers on hooks. TV was the size of an iPad. Bottom bed sheet too small and forever coming off. Needs to be clearer when it states breakfast included but it is only cereal. Outside seating area not suitable as soiled with seagulls droppings”

“Such a lovely hotel , staff are great especially serving, I did like this that special touch , great that you can park just across from the hotel , not much of a walk into Whitby , rooms are spotless, maybe could do with a update but very comfortable thanks for welcoming us”

“The best located hotel in Robin Hood’s bay for parking and ease of access to the old village. Friendly staff. Good restaurant, I had a slight feeling as a solo visitor that I was given one of the poorest rooms and had to ask to be given a more suitable table at dinner. Robin Hood’s bay is a ‘honeypot’ and the Victoria’s room rates reflect this.”

“호스텔임에도 불구하고 조용하고 넓었습니다. 아주 좋았습니다.”

“Lovely little boutique hotel run by super friendly hosts. The rooms are quite something and the place is chock full of eccentric vintage finds, it has real character. We had a deep, luxurious bath in our room and the vintage glass bottle of bubble bath was a nice touch. We had the breakfast (veggie continental) one morning and it was delicious, lots of fresh little picky bits to eat and drink. It’s up on the cliffs with a lovely view of the abbey but still an easy walk into town. Just sad we...

“Excellent breakfast and the owners were lovely. Very helpful. The only improvement could have been that shower gel was provided but it definitely does not deter me from highly recommending this great B&B”

“Great place to stay, super convenient location for exploring Whitby and a public car park only 3 minutes walk away. Great selection of tea & biscuits in the room on arrival and a fridge with bottled water & milk in the hallway for all rooms to access. Breakfast was made fresh upon request. Great price for everything that was included.”

“Lovely room, food great, both breakfast and dinner, hotel in a quiet area but close to village.”

“Room was totally fine. Bed was comfy. Given tea and coffee. I brought my own little lamp as the only light is the main one. Toilets and shower are external and pretty run of the mill. Nice selection of beers and ales in the pub. Breakfast was nice”

“The room was ok but was not serviced daily. The heating only came on for around an hour in the morning and as it is October perhaps should have been a couple of hours at night. The staff were polite and friendly.”

“While we liked the theme of the pub, and the staff were friendly, the stay was let down by a poor nights sleep due to very thin walls and chatter in the pub past 11pm (despite the pub closing at 10). I did complain, and the noise did stop after some time, but it took a significant amount of time to get to sleep even after that. The pillows were also not to our preference, being extremely soft, but we didn’t raise this with staff (as we only stayed one night) so we don’t know if there were any...
