“Pleasant, comfortable and reasonably priced accomodation close to train station and local buses. Plenty of eating and drinking options close by. Would definitely consider when staying in The Lakes again.”

“Very good stay overall, lovely place and grounds. Minor feedback, not clear that the lodges are not detached. The indoor swimming pool needs some TLC including the facilities like changing. Some of the activities were not included and had to be paid for, this is not made clear when booking. More cups and plates are needed or dish water tablets.”

“We loved the layout and the location was fantastic - a really short drive to the beach. Unfortunately it smelled quite badly of cigarette smoke and the washing machine smelled musty so we had to use the laundromat on site instead. We would have liked to have had some USB plugs. ”

We received an email stating that a portion of our deposit would be kept due to “extra cleaning” for marks on the wall - which were already there when we arrived and are completely normal for a well-lived space and for a torn throw that was already in poor condition upon check-in.
