โExcellent Hotel, located right opposite the beach. Staff were extremely friendly and food was good, both at breakfast & dinner.

โAlthough we didn't get to meet our hostess, the owner/host and his staff were fantastic. The pub was cosy and clean and extremely reasonably priced and the service was amazing. Very pleasant and friendly people who genuinely cared about making our stay pleasurable.
Absolutely recommend and should we find ourselves down that way again, we will most certainly stay here. Thank you. โ
โThe property was clearly undergoing a transformation and only partly ready for the public. However the bedrooms were beautifully decorated and the breakfast was very good. Some nice touches make the stay a step above the ordinary. โ
โThe unique thing about the Halfway House Inn is that it is truly dog friendly, no rip off ยฃ15 - 20 a night charge that we got at all the other hotels/pubs we stayed in on our 18 days away. We were made to feel welcome with our dog and not treated like 2nd class citizensโ
โThis hotel is wonderful. Rooms are beautifully decorated with everything you could need. Comfortable bed and plenty of space. We had an evening meal which was probably the best meal ever!! Breakfast was equally good. Abby who served us was a gem. Nothing but praise. Would recommend and stay again. โ
โWe had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Claremont. On arrival the access to the car park was straightforward and once parked up we were greeted with a lovely receptionist who checked us in.
The room was very clean and lovely decor. Bathroom was modern and clean with a bath and shower. We had a dog with us and the doggy welcome pack was well received. The location is perfect for walking further into Polperro from with lots of pubs and gift shops.

โFacilities were well organised and everything was as described. Bed was comfortable. Only downside wife me was that the carpet needs a clean, it is getting sticky under foot. Otherwise all good.โ

Special shout out to Olivia who did a tremendous job at breakfast, the dining room was packed with guests and it overflowed into the lounge bar too! They were working with skeleton staff and everyone came down to eat at the same time, however, she did a fantastic job โฆ well done Olivia!โ
