"This is a delightful property with a lovely host. It isn’t anything flash but if you’re looking for quaint and original then this is perfect. It is an older house so has the creaky floor boards and matching decor. Bathroom is clean and newer. Slices were provided on arrival and a beautiful English breakfast included the next morning. Was able to go for walk down to the nearby lake and take in the surrounding beauty. Would be a great place to base yourself for exploring the lakes district further."

"Really great stay! Outstanding service, especially from staff at the bar and check in desk. Loved seeing the bunnies on the lawn outside. Beautiful old property but needs a bit of a facelift in places. Room was comfortable but unfortunately the mattress sloped down on one side so I woke up several times fighting for my life to keep from rolling off the bed. Lovely stay overall though, good breakfast, would happily stay again."

"Great overnight stay. I had booked a double room for myself and my neice as there was no twin available, but at check in they were able to offer us a twin which was perfect. Breakfast was absolutely lovely, full English all cooked fresh."

"Stunning location, the quiet part of the Lakes. Amazing lounges , great views. Five star spa , within walking distance of The Lakes distillery, what more could you want ? Definitely recommend and we look forward to staying there again. Very friendly and helpful staff too."

"It was a last minute booking to the lakes and we chose such a lovely hotel to stay with lake view on the top floor with climbing all the steps . Room was very comfy, bathroom clean, breakfast fabulous most importantly the staff were very helpful at all times. "
