My husband and I stayed here due to the good reviews on Google. For some reason, it is rated 4.5 out of 5 stars on there. However, this is very much a 3 out of 5 for me. The room SMELLED terrible pretty much the entire time. We stayed for three nights and the scent was quite unsavory. If you’ve ever visited a nursing home, that is how the room smelled like. Stale and old. This can be overlooked if you are staying just one night here but it was brutal for three days. The people who work there have to be nose blind or simply write it off due to the historic nature of the building. Secondly, the internet connection was terrible. We are with AT&T and it was necessary to rely on the hotel’s WiFi…when it decided to work. Next, I thought that for the price of the room, we would have a mini fridge but we did not. ❌ Alert to others: THERE IS NO FRIDGE, TELEVISION, OR RELATIVE SOUND PROOFING FROM THE NEARBY RAILROAD. ICE MACHINE AND VENDING MACHINE WERE BROKEN. INTERNET IS EXTREMELY SPOTTY. ROOM SMELLS STALE. BEWARE. To focus on the positive, the restaurant onsite was lovely. Be prepared to make it a fine dining kind of night with the prices, though. I think travelers get carried away with the beautiful surrounding Glacier National Park and overrate this hotel.
