Clean, safe, family friendly camp with a pool and playground loved by the kids. Easy walk to town, including another huge playground. We stayed in a family cabin which was as expected for a cabin in terms of condition and amenities. Lovely solid bunks that dont move around when the kids climb to the top. Only suggestion would be to add a blind to the bathroom windows - they are frosted but its not that effective with the lights on

Great little motel for families
Great little place to stay! Had info on the Hot Water Beach rides and shovels for you to borrow. Pool was super handy since the sun was out and it got hit quickly.

Good and quiet location
Good location, clean and quiet. We had to rush a bit our dinner to be back before the 10pm curfew, when the access to the holiday park is closed.

Basic holiday park , very good location. Paying for location rather then amenities. Small cabins as is typical of a holiday park.

Great location & facilities
A really friendly place very clean and excellent facilities including a small swimming pool to refresh in the heat. Close to town and all amenities would happily visit again

Friendly and approachable staff. Must check-in before 1830 hours or to prearrange if check-in is after 1830 hours. A small 2-bedroom cabin with limited amenities. We were given each 12gb Wifi which is very generous. Very near to the town centre.

Great value for money, excellent staff.
My overnight stay provided me with all I required and the room was value for what I paid. Front desk staff were knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.

Handy Accommodation
Had a Harley Davidson get together call 'The Gathering". two days of excitement with bands and rides. Staying here mean't our bikes were safe and we were in walking distance.

Just Great!
Great, Clean well set out camp ground. Check in was easy! We stayed in a cabin and was impressed. nothing was a mis. Only down side would be the brats in the pool 24/7 and it closing at 7pm in summer which we found far to early. most of the time your out and about and wouldnt mind a soak in the pool but it closed far to early. Maybe adults only from 6-9pm? which would reduce the noise after 7pm.

The location is good close to town centre and short walk to the beach. But about half hour drive to the popular Hot Water Beach. The Holiday Park provides spades/ shovels for digging the hot water beach so that was good.

Great stay
We (family of 4) stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin for 2 nights. The cabin was very clean, very spacious and well equipped. Mercury Bay holiday park is a 15 minute walk from the town centre where all the restaurants, bars etc are located. Two big supermarkets are only 700 m away as well. The only negative we can say: WIFI was not free which is now the standard basically every else.

Lovely chalet stay
We had a great, comfortable stay in Chalet #65 which was beautifully decorated, clean and well-equipped. Host Sam gave clear communication for our late arrival was really helpful.

Unfortunately we were in whitianga for a memorial service for a relation so didn't get to use the amenities or visit the beach therefore can't comment on that. We had a two bedroom unit which was in need of a makeover otherwise good for what we needed.

Park bien situé à proximité de restaurants. Notre cabine était trop proche du lieu de dumping des camping-cars et de l'aire de lavage des bateaux=> manque d'intimité et bruit. Chambres très exigües.La WIFI était payante et de toute façon n'était pas opérationnelle pendant notre séjour.la piscine est de vraiment petites dimensions. Tout le reste OK

We love that the Park close to the shops and the beach. The pool is a lovely place to cool off over summer and is the perfect size for our guests. There is a larger pool at the local school.

Nice tidy campground
The holiday park is in a good location to get around Whitianga, we went to Lost spring hot pools and also Bird and animal encounters. We only stayed 2 nights and found the holiday park all we needed for a short stay .
Thanks for taking the time to post a review. Our central location is so convenient for visiting all that the area has to offer. Please come again.

Good one night stay
Clean holiday park in Whitianga. It comprises of stand alone apartments, as well as places for trailers and tents. There was a place for BBQ, as well as a large kitchen area and tv room for those not in an apartment. Easy to find and easy walk into Whitianga, which is very small. Owners able to give many options of places to eat. For kids there is a pool ( small but great), a trampoline and small play area. Our two bedroom apartment was perfect, and a good place to stay in the little town. We were only there for one night but it would be great if we were there for longer as it is like a little house, with double bunk beds in the second bedroom so no fighting from the kids. Whitianga is a lovely little place with a great beach and shelling area. would love to visit again and would return to the Holiday park.
