In particular, Sue, made out stay that much more comfortable. She helped me setup champagne, roses, and chocolate in our room before our arrival which I was able to surprise the wife with for our honey moon. “Room was clean and qiluite large but reception desk closes at 6pm so when you need something after then, hard to get it. Convenient store & restaurants are far from the hotel.”

“Having a kitchen and washer dryer is an expected bonus. We saved money by not having to eat out all the time and wonderful to be able to do laundry. The accommodation is standard but you get a spectacular swimming pool with million dollar view of the sea. The rooms are basic and not luxurious. The walk up the hill to Martinique makes you think twice of what you want to carry up from Woolworth’s. You do get a nice, unintended cardio workout. Overall, a great place to stay and highly recommended....

“It was a clean and spacious room. The view of the sea was excellent.The location is also good. However, even though we arrived on time during the reception, it was handled with a late check-in without any further contact. I ran not to be late. There was no one at the reception and they didn't contact me. And the shower in the master room broke down and could not be used.”

“Although the studio was small, the view was incredible as was the owner Peter who was very kind and helped us arrange 2 trips. The location was great, with good walkability to all local amenities. Most of the time the neighbouring rooms were quiet and considerate. Would highly recommend for a few days in Airlie Beach.”

We mentioned this to the caretaker as we had read it in reviews as well. She said she would have someone look at it. But why not have it fixed if it already had been mentioned more than once?
