Wunderschönes Haus mit Traumblick
Ein ganz besonderes Haus mit hohem Wohlfühlfaktor. Selten habe ich mich in einer Unterkunft in Südafrika so willkommen und wohl gefühlt...... ein großer Dank an Tersia und Albert Hoffmann und das Team von der Xanadu Guest Villa

Excepcional a estadia nesta casa do casal Albert. Que atendimento!!! que fartura no café da manhã!! que quarto espetacular e com um chuveiro muito bom mesmo, além de cama ultra confortável. O Sr. Albert cuida pessoalmente de tudo o que voce precisa. Frigobar abastecido e totalmente de graça!! e repõe diariamente o que voce consome. A casa é de cair o queixo de tão bonita, bem conservada e com uma decoração simplesmente MARAVILHOSA. Acredita que o Sr. Albert disponibiliza um ambiente de decoração impecável, com um bar e uma adega de vinhos muito ampla.... sabe qual o custo??? aquilo que voce achar que vale deposita voluntariamente em um recipiente !! olha que escolha fantástica. Se voltar a Africa do Sul, irei novamente na casa do casal Albert.

Liebevolle Inneneinrichtung, es wurde wirklich ein jedes Detail gedacht für einen großartigen Aufenthalt. Die Gastgeber so wie das Personal waren sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war einfach lecker. Diese Unterkunft kann man einfach nur weiterempfehlen!

Paradise by the Ocean.
Xanadu Guest Villa is a lovely place to stay. We were welcomed by Albert with refreshing drinks, who then gave us suggestions of places to visit and local restaurants. The gardens of the villa lead directly onto the beach, which is lovely for long walks. We stayed in the Neptune Suite, which was very comfortable and spacious, and had great views of the beach. Albert and his wife have tried to think what guests would like and might need- there are snacks, fruit, water, wine, sherry and soft drinks, and additionally a sewing kit and a steam iron! Our only wish is that we could have stayed longer!

Tolle Unterkunft am Strand
Wunderbare Lage mit direktem Zugang über Treppen zum Strand. Beim Einchecken wurden wir mit Tee/ Kaffee empfangen. Dabei wurde auch eine Empfehlung für ein gutes Lokal zum Abendessen und die Tischreservierung vom Vermieter geregelt. Jederzeit wieder!!!

This property was absolutely beautiful. It belongs in a how to decorate museum! The hosts were wonderful. The room was spectacular and the view was beyond spectacular. Can’t recommend enough! Wish we could have stayed longer!

Beautiful.
This was possibly the best hotel of the entire trip. The main part of the guest house is like a museum with relaxing music and luxurious art. The bed was massive and the bedroom beautiful. The back garden opens out into a wonderful but quiet beach with stunning views. It really does feel like a five star stay. Well recommended as a stop off on the garden route. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Atemberaubende Aussicht auf den Indischen Ozean
Die Xanadu Guest Villa ist eine sehr schöne und individuell eingerichtete Unterkunft mit einem atemberaubenden Ausblick auf den Indischen Ozean. Mit etwas Glück und Geduld wird man von Delfinen begrüßt. Der direkt vor der Villa gelegene kilometerlange Sandstrand lädt zu einem gemütlichen und romantischen Spaziergang ein. Die Gastgeber und das Personal sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zentrum von Wilderness mit zahlreichen Restaurants liegt nur wenige Fahrminuten entfernt.

Finest guest house on the Garden Route
You can tell why this place has won so much acclaim. Finest quality from the moment you push open the cavernous front door. Sea view rooms book fast and while we only had a mountain view room we certainly enjoyed sitting in the lounge. And when the breakers are high it.s a superb place to sit and watch this particular endless action.

Great location!
Xanadu is a nice boutique hotel, very nicely appointed rooms and good hospitality. The location and access to the beach can't be beat! This hotel is definitely intended for and would appreciated by mature guests who are looking for a quiet retreat.

Lovely guest house right on the beach
I stayed at Xanadu for only one night before moving on along the garden route. I wish I could have stayed longer! The guest house was beautifully with amazing views (and sounds!) of the sea - there was a really relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast was fantastic and the host was particularly helpful in making arrangements for dinner.

Thank you for the nice thoughts. Keep in mind we are situated centrally in the Garden route and can daytrips easily be undertaken to Oudtshoorn(1hr),Knysna(30 min)Plettenbergbay(45 min),even to Addo elephant park(3hrs). Saves the guest the chore of packing and unpacking every day,(and loosing half a day in the process),when you can return in the afternoon to the best guest villa in the Garden route and still have time for a beachwalk !

Uma casa incrível! Tudo muito luxuoso e um atendimento impecável, que você realmente se sentir em casa (do nível: "tem whisky, vinho e cerveja aqui no bar, pode pegar...fique à vontade!)! Beautiful Views
We were greeted by Albert after a long drive from Stellenbosch and taken to the Presidential Suite. The room has phenomenal views over the ocean with a spacious balcony. The beach is next to the house so perfect for those wanting a walk on the beach at sunset or sunrise. We were given a complimentary bottle of wine on arrival. The room was clean and the linens were high quality. I don't think it's possible to overstate just how extraordinary the views are. Thank you to all of the staff who were amazing - recommend this to anyone travelling the Garden Route but would book for more than the single day that we had !

Xanadu ist ein sehr luxuriöses Gästehaus direkt am Beach von Wilderness. Die Zimmer und die öffentlichen Bereiche sind hervorragend ausgestattet mit tollen Sitzecken und einen Traumblick auf den Ozean. Der Garten ist sehr gepflegt und bietet mehrere tolle Ecken mit Liegen zum relaxen. Über eine Treppe erreicht man direkt den Traumstrand mit einer eigenen eindrucksvollen Brandung.

1 night Stopover from Cape Town to Plett. INteresting property with couple who own it who are obviously totally commited in making this a great experience. Its an amazing house, though decor may nit be to every ones taste. We were given the top floor with fabulous views over the beach and sea from the large deck area.

This villa is situated in a spectacular position. We had a very comfortable and homely stay. We were made to feel very welcome by the owners. The decor is superb and the staff very friendly. I would definitely recommend Xanadu and hope to stay there again.

Beautiful House, great location for the beach.
Stayed at Xanadu for one night at the begining of December during our trip along the Garden Route. Stunning location overlooking the sea with direct access to the beach for walks. The house itself is beautiful, luxurious furnishings and we had a beautiful room. Our hosts were very professional and recomended a great place for dinner in Joplins a local steakhouse just off the N2. Would definitely recomend Xanadu.

Diese Logde der Spitzenklasse liegt direkt am Strand, was für ein Blick hat man schon beim Frühstück - einfach ein Traum! Die Zimmer sind sehr gut ausgestattet, man fühlt sich gleich wohl, wobei man hier nicht soviel Zeit verbringt, da der Strand zum Spazierengehen einlädt und es auch der Umgebung viel zu erkunden gibt. Für uns ein guter Startpunkt für Ausfüge nach Plettenberg, Knysna und Oudtshorn. Direkt in Wilderness findet man auch sehr gute Restaurant (tolle Empfehlungen von Albert) Wir kommen wieder!!

Perfection at Xanadu
My wife and I were highly impressed with the quality of Xanadu, the general helpfulness of the owners in recommending local restaurants and places of interest, and, lastly the stunning location on the dunes at Wilderness Beach. We will return. (Not had a chance to look for 'photos, yet)
