“Quiet clean hotel tucked in the mountains of West Virginia. Small, charming and conveniently located just off Hwy #64. So nice to support a locally owned business. Best of all NO pets, NO pool so you're not paying for something you don't need. Wonderful staff (owner). Convenient breakfast with nice choices. We've traveled all over the world and this was exactly what we need in a hotel. Will use again. A "10".”

“The hot tub was broken. The pool was very cloudy and dirty. We found about a 12 inch long black hair in the gravy at breakfast and they tried to up charge me $10 for a room that I had already paid for in advance through Expedia”

“The bathroom was in poor condition with a broken toilet seat and burnt out light bulbs- The bed pillows were uncomfortable and the air conditioner did not work effectively to keep the room at an even temperature. ”

“The best part was Elliot’s Grill and Bar on premises. Quiet property until you open the door to the grill - wow! Full of people, laughing and socializing, $7 large mixed drinks, such a friendly and lively place! Room was clean and sufficient, not luxurious but fine. Breakfast was good with a variety of choices. This is the place to stay if you are visiting the New River Gorge area of WV. ”
