We did not notice until we heard screaming and noticed someone getting arrested just outside our room, but the sheets had blood stains and the mattress had what would likely be urine stains or maybe even blood. Don’t stay in room 151.

Room was cleanish but staff was very lazy and unhelpful. Room did not have bedsheets on the sofa bed mattress and there was an old t-shirt left on the mattress. When I called to ask for sheets, they asked me to come down to reception and get the sheets to put on the mattress myself. The room was booked for 5 adults and only came with 2 towels. When I requested 5 towels, we came back to a dirty room and dirty towels, with no extra towels. I went down to reception to get the extra towels and the receptionist asked me to bring the dirty towels down myself. The service here was unacceptable.

When we first walked in you could tell it wasn’t cleaned properly, stains in the bathroom and dirt and grime as well. It says “FREE WI-FI”, be prepared for the WiFi to not work during your stay, along with a tub that didn’t drain. There were also bugs in our room one night and when confronted the front desk there is no compensation they offer besides being offered another dirty room. If you want a hotel that isn’t clean and could possibly have bugs and not a clean space this is the place for you! Most staff were friendly but the one guy confronted about their horrible service.

Even though complimentary breakfast was advertised on both Expedia and Days Inn sites, they did not offer breakfast nor did they offer any credit. We stayed from Thursday until Monday yet there was no housekeeping. Although the room was clean, the bathroom was run down.

Good A/C, No continental breakfast as advertised, no coffee pot in room. had to go to 7-11 down street for coffee. Pool water was Green and dirty. Mold in the bath tub. On the good side. A/C was awesome, bed was very comfortable. Room amenities were clean and in good working order , refrigerator, microwave, 50" TV. Not my best Windom stay.

Staff very nice at check in and quiet stay. Had a pool. Room wasn’t very clean and someone stuck pimple patches all over the wall and it wasn’t cleaned off I guess the cleaners didn’t see it. Gave me 2 towels and 2 washcloths for a four day stay but you can go to the front desk and request more. AC works well. Rooms don’t look like the picture and are very dated. Cheap stay and mostly used the room to shower and sleep so it served its purpose and staff were very kind

Our Vacation: From Horror Movie to Captain John Smith. After arriving at our first pre-paid hotel only to find it entirely closed for renovations, Expedia successfully passed us around to five different phone agents like a hot potato.They finally booked us a new room. We walked in, and I am convinced it was the set of a budget horror movie. The amenities included:A toilet featuring a literal biological hazard.A bathtub coated in hair and yellow mystery sludge.A fridge coated in unidentifiable spills.Enormous spiderwebs everywhere.Beds sprinkled with "mystery brown flakes."Multiple dead roaches acting as decor.When I called Expedia to complain, an agent named Joanna helpfuly suggested we just switch rooms—because clearly, only that specific room was cursed. Cue my complete mental breakdown in the lobby.Thankfully, the hotel manager was an angel and offered a full refund. I called Expedia back, crying hysterically, and finally reached a saint of a man. He recommended a place that was "outdated but clean."We checked into the Captain John Smith Inn. The front desk guy assured us it wasn’t luxury, but it was spotless. He was right! It looks like 1985 in here, but everything is clean and organized. He even called our room five minutes later to double-check.My husband and I are finally horizontal, relaxing, and breathing clean air!

Upon arrival, the couch bed had all kinds of stains on it. The carpet in the room is very dirty, there were a few bugs as well. The actual couch was dirty too with various stains and just dirty. This property appears to be one of the worst in the area. Also check the sheets and covers! They still had stains on them as well. I will never book this hotel again.

Basic but good value for the money - if you're looking for a place to stay at a reasonable price and just need a good night's sleep, shower without any fancy high priced extras this is your place. TV was fine, in room frig, microwave and plenty of outlets to plug in your devices.

We stayed one night at this location. The room was really dirty. The floors had not been cleaned, the bathroom floor and bathtub had not been cleaned and the property in general was not maintained well at all. We were not expecting a luxury stay given the price but the uncleanliness was just unacceptable for any motel/hotel room no matter what it cost.

We booked a room for a quick stay for a 2 day Water Country trip and this was the worst possible place we could have chosen. The room was horrible. We originally asked for an early check in and was told that the room was not ready which was totally fine. It seems as if it was not ready when we checked in either. The microwave was not cleaned. It had old dried food in it and we could not put our things in the fridge as that and the freezer was also not cleaned. There was a hole in the wall where the smoke detector used to be and also the border of the wall was falling down. I opened the closet and there was a dirty spoon. The bathroom had an old suave shampoo wrapper in the shower. They could not switch rooms for us because it was fully booked. I’m not sure another room would have been any better. When we pulled out the sleep sofa, there was a few pieces of trash under it. It was just horrible and I would not recommend.

The room itself was clean and comfortable. The bathroom, however, has black mold all over the top of the shower and there were counter stains and delaminating which took away from the experience. The area was okay but there were some areas of the motel property that gave huge safety concerns but luckily we didn’t have to stay on that side. There is no breakfast included at all. In fact the room was even locked with all lights off. That was the biggest disappointment because that was a large reason why we decided to go with this place was the pictures and the free breakfast. Not too happy with the stay and probably will opt to not go here again.

This will be our last stay at a Days Inn property. The facility is run down and poorly maintained. When closed and locked, you could see daylight around the entrance door. Immediately after check-in, we had to go back to the office because the lock on the door was apparently stuck and wouldn't lock when we tried to go to dinner. We had our granddaughter with us and when we unfolded the sofa sleeper for her, the mattress was so stained it was disgusting and we would not allow her to sleep on it!!! I mentioned the condition of the sofa sleeper when we checked out and was met with a blank stare....not even an apology!!! Avoid the disappointment and stay somewhere else.

This place was AWFUL. My first room didn't have a functioning smoke detector - just wires coming out from the wall with the actual smoke detector stored in a drawer. No TV remote. The room smelled and was extremely worn. I moved to another, slightly better room. The listing said breakfast, but that was wrong. There is no breakfast. They do offer coffee from a machine in what looks to be a once used breakfast room, but you have to get your coffee in the dark because they keep the lights off. Avoid this place if you can.
