The hotel was fine and in a good location (along the river walk) in downtown Wilmington. The free airport shuttle service was handy and prompt (10-15 minutes from airport. Staff was friendly and competent. The most negative comment I have is the room amenities. Weirdly, there was not enough drawer space for clothing. And only 4 hangers in the closet. The room should be supplied with a folding luggage rack.

On the riverwalk across from the battleship New Jersey for nice sunsets. Very close to where the walking tours start downtown. Air conditioning worked so well. Lots of excellent shops nearby like The Black Cat. Great restaurants of all types in walking distance. Ice cream shops open late and lots of restaurants and bars open even later. Downtown is quite walkable. Parking available for an additional fee. The parking was close to an entrance neat the pool.

Great hotel, in a good area, and easily walkable to all of the bars, restaurants and shops in downtown Wilmington. My only issue was that none of the rooms have a mini fridge or refrigerator in them. I asked if were possible to rent one, but they said that was not an option. Just something to keep in mind if you want to bring leftover food back, cold drinks or need to keep your medication refrigerated.

Lauren checked us in and was amazing, friendly, professional, and extremely helpful. Erica and India also stayed in touch with me by text throughout my stay, which I appreciated. However, my request for room service, including fresh towels and washcloths, was not fulfilled. There was also a coffee station in the hotel, but each time I stopped by to get coffee, the attendants had a sign posted indicating they had stepped away, so I was unable to get coffee during my stay. The room itself was clean and comfortable, although the shower and shower drain could have used a more thorough cleaning. Overall, my stay was very nice, and the staff I interacted with were pleasant and helpful. However, considering the amount spent, there were several areas where the service and attention to detail could have been improved.
