My wife and I were traveling back to Darwin from Brisbane and overnighted at the Boulder Opal Hotel. We unexpectedly had to stay another night because the road north was cut due to flooding. Celeste and the team were excellent in catering to our unexpected emergency. The whole situation was managed very well with our room โ€˜held-overโ€™ for us to use on the second night. We were kept up to date with the latest road reports and made to feel at ease with what was a stressful situation. Fortunately the road opened on the third day and we were able to make our way home. I would have no hesitation booking a room at this family run hotel in the future. Thanks again for making our stay in Winton hassle free.
