“The hotel was in a great location, right downtown close to restaurants and the river side parks. It was easy to walk to most places we wanted to go to. One issue was that there is no parking at the hotel, so we had to park in the Municipal garage about a block away. Parking was free on the weekend. “The suite is old, and so may not appeal to everyone. It doesn't have AC so could be a hot box in summer, but there are plenty of fans and lots of open windows. There is lovely, tiny balcony off the kitchen, facing the back garden. I stayed for just one evening and was quite comfortable. The place suited me perfectly. “We had an overall enjoyable stay at Eganridge. The property is beautiful, the lake views are stunning, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. We also really enjoyed the restaurants—the food and service were excellent, and the team was very accommodating with our baby. That said, there were a few disappointments, especially considering the premium price. The cottage could have been cleaner, and details like mouldy caulking around the bathtub shouldn’t be overlooked at this price...

“We had so much fun at this resort. The cabin was perfect and everything was clean and exactly what we expected. The outdoor table and set up was so nice to be able to watch kids play either at the park or the beach, and also just enjoy a morning coffee. We used the boats and kayaks and games room too. Only thing was you have to park at the main area and carry items to your cabin but it’s not far. Would definitely recommend to other families. We will be back!”
