"We stayed at the hotel for a night, really enjoyed the area around the hotel, saw some deers. The owner was very friendly. We had a lovely meat and cheese platters for dinner."

The house are wonderful and I even went home with a nice bottle opener, handmade by the proprietor."

"Very reasonable cost provided a comfortable stay with a feel of Germany of many decades ago, but with modern conveniences. Breakfast was wonderful and the evening meal we enjoyed there was even better."

The room had a slightly older character but functioned according to our requirements. The view was amazing. I would recommend this if travellers want a friendly family fell to ther stay.. "

"This was one of our favourite hotel stays ever! Beautiful wood panelled lodge set into the hills of the Black Forest. The room was spotless and the food at dinner and breakfast was faultless too. The service was friendly throughout. The view from the beer garden alone is worth coming for. 10/10 P.s. It’s a personal preference thing but I like to have two pillows. There was only one in the room so do ask at the desk if you prefer two"
